Strange Effect After Waking

Hi, folks… Here’s something I did once a few years ago that I never posted (or maybe I just don’t remember it  ). Anyway, what I did was directly after awakening from an OBE, I touched my closed eyelids with my fingers - and pressed in lightly. I was fully awake at this point and sitting up in bed (not a false awakening, either). Instantly, there was just an explosion of geometric figures and shapes moving around my eyes - all highly patterned… Zig-zagging lines and such.

I know these are Pressure Phosphenes, but the vibrance and shapes they took were very atypical, compared to what I’d normally get. They reminded me a lot of Aboriginal Art. Anyway, I thought it might be interesting for some of you folks to play around with - and it might even be useful for something…

Something like that but not exactly happens to me so here it is: After waking up from a nap sometimes i feel really weird then when i start to think this will happen once or twice i get images in my eyes like 2 lines moving on a grid but this happens around 8 times so its like a mind overload. And it really makes me feel uncortable and i cant think straight for 8 minutes or so. Really weird…

i think my pressure phosphenes always look like a cross between aboriginal art and wave diffraction demonstrations.

OoBE is weird thing, things like that arent strange compared to whole thing. I’d not rather by interested in it.

Sometimes i see small thingys like that when im looking at one point at long time

I saw a documentary about shamans yesterday. They were on about cave paintings and that they were depictions of whatthe shamans experienced. They showed some marks on the wall that were of patterns, and aparently these sort of things are very common in the business of changing your consciousness and can be seen in many cultures around the world. They believe these patterns and shapes are the generic shapes that are programmed into the brain. I guess from birth.

Is that like ideograms? I read a ninjitsu manual (ninja-martial-art) and they had a long meditation thing that included repeating tracing ideograms whilst controling your breathing and stuff.

touching your eyelids just after waking up from a lucid dream is a remarkably good idea!

i will try it and see. i would imagine it would give the phosphenes a sustained life to them that would not be present in the waking state, perhaps yielding the ability for them to turn into HI and bridge you back into lucidity.

ya that’s possible, my pressure phosphenes thing visuals always look the same as what i see when i have HI(a circle)

strange because what i see is a focus straight in the middle, i c a small dot with millions of dots inside of it, and it moves around and then dissapears
