Every dream I have had in the past two weeks includes two strangers. It has always been me, my best friend Sydnie, the two strangers, and other DC’s that are in my drea m that night. Does this symbolize anything? Why am I dreaming about complete strangers that I do not recognize? I don’t even really acknowledge them in my dream…only when I woke up. All I know about them is that one of them speaks french…This is constant with this DC during all my dreams.
Two strangers, one speaking French? I’m not sure what you mean with other DC’s, the ones that just are there? I’m not very good at interpreting such things, but maybe it’s like a warning.
You’ll be noticing two people that you don’t know, one of them is associated with France, and the dreams have them to tell you to stay away from them, they might be dangerous.
Of-course it might be the opposite of that and the dream is telling you that such people could help you (by teaching you French perhaps 
).

There could be no reason, except that your subconscious has decided to use these two likenesses.
So what impression do you get from them? Do they just feel like background filling DCs or do you feel that something about their characteristics stand out.
You mention that one is always french. The french language is often thought of a romantic language. Do you understand what he is saying in the dream?
The important thing is really about how you yourself feel about their presence in your dreams.
No I have tried to keep a conversation with her and I can’t hehe. I don’t really get an impression…just that they are friends of mine. They have been with me in nightmares also.
So are they both girls? or is one a guy? Can you recall any other details, such as, were they older than you, same age, full grown adults?
One might consider their appearance in your nightmare and normal dreams as a sign that they are watching over you, in a good way.
As moogle said the best thing is to go with your intuition and your gut feelings that you may receive while you interact with these DC’s. Verbal communication may not be needed at all. Just take the time to observe them and trust what you feel.
I can’t observe them If i can’t get lucid 
Well its annoying cause it feels like they should be there. That if they were not there, it wouldn’t seem right.
Yes, they are both girls. In one of my dreams I somehow ‘knew’ that they were in grade nine. I don’t know how, but when I woke up and went to record my dream- that is just what I felt.
Recurring dreams are common for some, but recurring DCs are somewhat more rare, especially when they are strangers. Sure, dreaming with friends and family IS common, after all, you see them every day, but those strangers sure are puzzling. Try finding out more about them

Try to get a good look at them if you can - wouldn’t it be cool if you met them IWL at some point in the future?
Or they could be spirit guides, just looking out for you and keeping you company.
I’m still having to work at improving my recall - I don’t think I have any recurring DC’s that are not actual people in my life. If someone I know is in my dreams more than once in a short while, I call them up and tell them - that is, except for my ex-husband, who has been making WAY too many appearances lately 
I have had a RDC before… she appeares in my dreams overtime, like could be days between, weeks, months, has been a year or 2 at points, but she always comes back, she is a complete stranger to me, but i always wake up thinking, man i realy wish i could meet her IWL or go back to that dream, because i never get to talk to her much in my dreams as people get in the way ect, but it feels like you said, like she should be there, so mabuie its a good thing they are… like Rare said, mabie they are there to “watch over you”
I’ve had two dreams about a stranger, the dreams are quite old but one of my goals with LDing is finding out who he is. He’s always felt important to me and while he’s mostly been in control during the dreams I always somehow help him.
Who know what the strangers in our dreams represent? If you become lucid I’d suggest trying to use telepathy to communicate with the French DC, it should get you past the language barrier. 
This is just a little of topic, kinda… but has anyone noticed that males tend to have female “strangers” in there dreams, and likewise, females have males in theres ?
They aren’t strangers… You have seen them at least once in your life, even if they were just someone behind the cash register, or someone walking by you at the mall.
