On two recent occassions (last night and 5 nights ago) I woke up with very strong chest pressure/pain. The dream I woke up from corresponded to the pain in my chest. The first dream I was sitting on a couch, and some girl was crushing my chest with her legs. I can still clearly remember the terrible, very vivid pain. In the dream I was sure I was going to die. This pain woke me up directly from the dream, and as I layed there in bed the pain was almost as bad for about 30 seconds. There was still a bit of pain for 10 minutes afterward. Last night this happened again, only it was a different girl (any correlation?), and she was crushing my chest and stomach with her hands… in the dream I was waiting for the sound of my ribs breaking. It was, again, very vivid pain which lasted the same amount of time after waking up. This was more near my heart this time.
Typing this right now, the emotional feeling of the experience is starting to come back… a bad feeling indeed. This does, however, lead me to beleive that the pain is not only physical.
I would REALLY very much appreciate anyones thoughts/comments on this, also, maybe someone has had a similar experience. Chest pains worry me, as they should, but I am in decent health and seem too young for a heart attack. I am under a lot of stress, however, and have been for quite some time. I really do not want another one of these painful experiences.
