Sub-lucidity

Yesterday night I experienced something quite odd, but interesting, and, as I have problems holding on to lucidity, actually logical. I dreamt I could do whatever I wanted, thus when I realised that, I started doing all kinds of fun things, so it all was just like a lucid dream, it even felt like it. But I was not lucid. I had no clue I was dreaming. I just was convinced I could do everything I wanted, and since it was a dream, it was true. For I did not realise I dreamt, I had no problems staying in this dream while experiencing this lucid-like state. Maybe it is a way my subconcious made me experience the joy of lucidity, since I am having problems maintaining lucidity, and here I was not lucid but felt like it and acted like it.

When i had more LD-s in the past such control element started to enter to my ND-s also. So in some dreams, i did not realized that this is a dream ( = i was not lucid), but i believed that i can control certain things and i did.

I get that all the time, in fact, I think it has a special name but…I can’t remember what its called…

its a pre lucid state.

Its where you are almost lucid but do not actualy say or think i am dreaming.

you are extremly close, keep it up and prob in the next two days you will be lucid just consider this a taste of what is to come, use it as your passion and you will experience a full lucid dream.

Let me know how you go.

Rich

Thanks, I’ll try to use it as a pathway to lucidity. ^.^

It was a FLD.
It’s in fact very close to actual lucidity, so keep it up!

Anyway FLD’s can be very fun…

Hm, I think it is not a FLD. =o Are FLD’s not dreams in which you dream you are lucid, but are not actually lucid? In this dream, I just thought I was awake but did realise I could do everything I wanted.

Had a sub-lucid moment just last night. I knew it was a dream, but I wasn’t lucid. (sounds like an oxymoron, I know) I seem to have a mental block in this category, since I need to flunk an RC before I can truly become lucid, even if I already know it’s a dream. (like last night) I just stood there thinking “This is a dream. I can go lucid now.” looks at deformed controller to affirm statement “I know I’m dreaming.” waits for familiar sensation of waking up inside dream, but nothing happens. is about to try those blasted reality checks but suddenly wakes up :wallhit:

:sigh:

Hm, that’s even different from what I’ve experienced, which is not knowing you are dreaming but still controlling your dream abilities. q=
