Hey, as you start WILD almost immediately your thoughts start to randomise, the other day I was coming out of the sleep pattern, and I remember reading countless pages of absolute nonsense, the words were jumbled up but I could still read them, so as you’re drifting off, is it possible to think up random words to help you stay focused?
Also, when I WILD I feel like my breathing capacity drops, as I fall I have to breathe for no reason, I’ve tried not breathing, but I gasp for air.
Off topic I know, but I’m really sick of people just making up -ILD acronyms for thier latest technique, especially if it’s yet to be tested by anyone else. Most techniques are WILD or MILD variations, and the ones that deserve ILD acronyms are those that have been tried and tested, and are different enough from the ‘basic techniques’ to be considered thier own category of induction technique…
Rant aside, when trying to achieve a WILD, doing what you have found to help you personally is probably the best way to go. My advice: try it out a few times, and keep us posted on whether random words are a good thing to focus on.
Now you say it, I’ve heard once about a similar technique but it was with visualization. You imagine a random object, then once it’s rather well visualized, another one, etc.
It’s a rather unknown technique, it was invented, I believe, by Christian Bouchet, Ph.D.
