Summoning a RL Dreamer?

I know in LD you can summon up anything you desire; whether it be a gun, a spirit guide, or a doughnut. So I thought…

Would it be possible (assuming that SD’s are real) to summon up someone you knew into your dream, if you were both asleep at the same time?

I Imamgine it might be hard, you’d probably need to synch up REM to even try it… but, would it work?

Strange but true, I had this Lucid where I started spinning out of my bed and straight up through my ceiling where it turned black, when the black faded I was at the top of my sisters ceiling where I looked down and saw them sleeping. I called out to her to see if she could hear (even subconciously). The next day I called her to see if she could remember any dreams about me, she said not that she was aware of. Was I really there or did I recreate her bedroom in my lucid. I’m not sure but it sure felt real.

Actually it’s very easy to know wheter you “really” were out of body, or was it usual OBE what is type of LD.

For example, if you have OBE in your room, then notice if all things are where they are IRL. I bet that in most cases you have different room during OBE than IRL, what shows that you were dreaming :wink:

Or… OR… you could just take RC’s, which would tell if you really had left your body, or whether you were really just having a type of LD :smile:.

phoenelai - I don’t really see what’s strange about that. Your sister had no recollection of you in any dream, so it’s no different to any other dream she’s been in… :confused:

Well, one way to do it would be to get lucid and go to a door and say “when I go through this door I will be in blank’s dream” and when you go through you will be in thier dream and when you see them again ask them to tell you any dreams they had about you.

hmmm i have tried this a few times but i didnt have any sd that way. i even tried it with my twin brother chris, who is a natural lder…well conscous dreamer anywayz. But he didnt hear me in the dream world. we have tryed to meat many times and i have called out to him at times and he has done so to me. mind you there was this one dream in which i heard him call out to me and was ripped into “his” dreamworld and things were very differnt. I am incomplete colorblind but when i was in his world i saw colors there that i had never seen before… this is one thing that has sorta stuck with me. i dont think that it would really be all that hard. its just going looking and the drive and determination to go and do it which is the hard bit, why dont you run a few experiments and see where they get you :happy:
