WILD, my favorite technique, but I can’t say that I’m all that good at it. I’ve successfully WILD’ed twice but only when I have successfully achieved sleep paralysis, which is hard for me. If anyone knows of any techniques I can use to achieve sleep paralysis, I would greatly appreciate if you could tell me them. I don’t care if the technique is hard or easy as long as your sure it will give me sleep paralysis in 30 minutes or less.
I am not that well-versed in the arts, but the first time I entered sleep paralysis it was non-intentional. Mainly because I didn’t know much about it, and I was aiming for a hypnagogic state, which I knew was about keeping the mind awake… so that’s what I did, by applying self-hypnosis.
I started out by relaxing my body. This was done by “remembering” moments of relaxation, which I have had many of, and letting the sensation spread through my body until a feeling of warmth and weight dominated. Then I continuously repeated to myself, “My body falls asleep as my mind stays awake.”
That got me into a period of sleep paralysis, which made me paranoid for a couple of weeks. But now I am glad to have a go at it again, I might just do that tonight.
I hope my little post can help you in some way, or at least give you an idea of how other people induce sleep paralysis.

I also forgot to mention that I used some counting techniques to stay awake. Simple counting to keep me occupied.
Well, to have sleep paralysis set in, your body needs to be relaxed; I’d use a sinking meditation, with a rising meditation.
Basically, you breath in and out, reciting your Mantra or counting or whatever, but on the exhale, you try to feel each major muscle/body part sink. Starting with the feet, inhale, exhale, and while exhaling, try and think and feel that the certain body part is sinking. Then, continue like that with the rest of the body untill you get to the head, and on the inhale, this time, you try and feel you head rise up (either literally up through your face or…
Sideways parallel to your body (like through the top or back of your head)) Hopefully, this will relax your body and remind you subconscious to keep your head aware (maybe?).
