teleporting

I finally had two more LD’s and in one of them I tried to change the gravity and it worked! I could jump very high and run faster. I also tried to teleport myself up on a high building to jump off, but when I did that I woke up!
I need help with teleporting myself, can someone help me?

One way to do it it to close your eyes and spin around really fast, and concentrate on where you want to end up. Hopefully when you open your eyes you’ll be there.
You could even just close you eyes and not spin if you wanted to, but watch out for False Awakenings.
Other ways that your for me are falling, jumping, and of course, flying.

How did you try to teleport ?

Ooops, I meant to say, “…that work for me…”, not “…that your for me…”

I close my eyes and hope that when I open them I am somewhere else. But when I close my eyes I always wake up, I really wake up it’s not just a false awakening.

Closing your eyes is an awful technique. In most of cases, it leads to waking you up or to FA’s.
Spinning works sometimes, but it seems that it gives a lot of FA’s too.
Generally, you have to use doors or mirrors in order to teleport or change background: you can imagine what you want behind, and then open the door. Another idea would be to use a teleport gadget (a magical ring, etc.)

It would be great if some people could describe their teleporting techniques…

I use a combined RC and teleporting technique. If I suspect it is a dream, I try to draw a circle in the air. (This isn’t something I would recommend in a public place ) If I’m lucky, it produces a glowing circle in the air, big enough for me to jump through it. I can think or talk about where I want to go before jumping. This doesn’t require any special object either, just air.

Eyes are the only consciously controlled body part which aren’t paralyzed in REM sleep. That’s why it is not a good idea to close and open eyes in a dream. It gives me only SP.

Another idea: you can say loud the name of the location where you want to be teleported. I tried once and it worked.
