Telling the Difference Between FLD and LD?

Is there a way to tell the difference between a FLD and low quality LD? :help:

Basically, I was attempting WILD last night after I woke up around 2 AM. After I counted past “300, I’m dreaming” or so, I fell into this dream where there were these hideous hairy spiders on my bed. So I says to myself, “I must be dreaming!” Then the dream became rather waterlogged (hard to describe) and I proceed to try the nose-breathing RC (which was accurate!). I also attempted to teleport and fly through the roof (did not work) before I woke up.

But after I woke up (and wrote about it in my DJ), I wasn’t exactly sure how conscious I actually was. How can I tell the difference between a FLD and a true LD? Thanks. :happy:

That sounds like an LD to me for sure. Lucidity basically just means awareness. If you ever have a moment where you have an epiphany that you are dreaming, then it is a lucid dream. Now, LD’s can vary in how clear they are, and it’s totally possible to lose the awareness once you have it.
