You’re right, I don’t question Atheism. I look for ways to shape it into something that makes sense to me. That shouldn’t give you the impression that I have a stubborn mind though, I’m just all for making logical sense of things, and not blindly following directions written by the hand of man. I’m happy with my beliefs.
Incidentally, I don’t think the results of this particular test could have given you that opinion about my beliefs. The questions were all:
Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (66%)
Secular Humanism (55%)
Orthodox Quaker (48%)
Orthodox Judaism (43%)
Islam (36%)
Nontheist (26%)
Seventh Day Adventist (20%)
Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (19%)
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (15%)
Jehovah’s Witness (15%)
Eastern Orthodox (8%)
Roman Catholic (8%)
I’d say I’m a Unitarian Universalist, seeing as how my beliefs are a great muddle of agnosticism, some Christian thrown in, plus a bunch of Zen and Buddhism. But mainly it’s muddled.
1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%)
2. Orthodox Quaker (90%)
3. Bahá’í Faith (85%)
4. Liberal Quakers (83%)
5. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (82%)
6. Unitarian Universalism (78%)
7. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (73%)
8. Seventh Day Adventist (72%)
9. Theravada Buddhism (71%)
10. Jehovah’s Witness (70%)
11. Mahayana Buddhism (70%)
12. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (66%)
13. Sikhism (57%)
14. Orthodox Judaism (57%)
15. New Age (56%)
16. New Thought (55%)
17. Eastern Orthodox (55%)
18. Roman Catholic (55%)
19. Hinduism (54%)
20. Reform Judaism (54%)
21. Jainism (53%)
22. Islam (50%)
23. Neo-Pagan (48%)
24. Taoism (45%)
25. Scientology (42%)
26. Secular Humanism (33%)
27. Nontheist (20%)
I agree with my results. The test seemed predictable though.

I noticed that homosexuality was often mentioned. It’s funny how that is a determining factor of my faith. The final results link to descriptions of the religions, and most descriptions explains the religion’s view on homosexuality. Very interesting addition.
Though I’m not Quaker, I was happy to see a few of those labels up top.
I don’t think the test is flawed. The test isn’t saying that you’re 20% nontheist, it is saying that your beliefs are only about 20% compatible with those of the nontheist, which could be very true since the questions test more things than “do you believe in god.”
I’m confused…I have just gone back and did the test again, inorder to click on the 7th day Adventists as that was my second in the “league table”. I got different results!!
I’ll paste the new ones up and then give the original ones.

I’ll do the original ones in green. To add insult to injury I was so shocked by the results I forgot to click on the 7th day Adventists!!
edit: I just went back and clicked on 7th day Adventists and apparently under the salvation headline is . Some modes of entertainment (theater, billiard rooms, dance halls, saloons, most television, movies, etc.) are to be avoided. Schooling at home or at non-government church schools is recommended.
So I guess I won’t be getting converted! Most TV and films avoided! no drink!

I have been back on beliefnet and some of the other quizzes seem to give more accurate results. It would be interesting if some other forum members tried some of the other quizzes.
I have done 3 more with the results…
I’m a liberal catholic (probably based the original test on very conservative catholics inorder to identify the religious differences)
