Day 1: Introduced to LDing. Read most of LD4all.com’s Lucid Dreaming guide. You don’t necessarily have to completely understand each category, and you don’t need to choose favorites. Just get the basic idea of what LDing is, how some people do it, and what can happen in them.
Night 1: Have a dream, see how much you can remember of it. This is building a skill you will need known as ‘‘Dream Recall’’
Day 2: Write about your dream, try to recall as much as possible. To some, this may be your first entry in a ‘‘Dream Journal’’.
Night 2: Try to remember at least half of your dream
Day 3: Jot down the dream. You’re good for the next step
Night 3: Become aware of yourself as you drift to sleep. Try to WILD to the point where your body begins to shutdown. Know what it feels like for you to be asleep
Day 4: Learn more about WILD and other dream techniques.
Night 4: Try to remember most, if not all, of your dream this night
Day 5: Look for similarities between your dreams so far. Recognize your dream signs.
Night 5: Have a dream, try to look for a dream sign in that dream. If you are inducted to becoming Lucid, this is the end of your adventure. If not, continue.
Day 6: Learn about RCs, and see if they are for you. Easy ones include pinching your nose closed, and looking at your hands, looking for wierdness.
During this day, RC often. As you see if they might be your key
Night 6: Once again, notice yourself slowly drifting asleep like in Night 3. However, this time you are going to communicate with your body
Tell yourself to wake up earlier then usual. For instance, if you usually wake up at 6:00 AM, keep reminding yourself to wake up at 4:00 AM.
Day 7: Look at the time you woke up. Did you wake up at 4, or whatever your goal time was? Did this work for you? If so, continue. If not, try one more night
Go throughout the day RCing often
Night 7: If your body successfully communicated. This could be your goal objective. Once more, like in Night 6 and 3, notice yourself slowly going to sleep
When you begin to feel like you’re slipping away. Remind yourself again and again, the next time you open your eyes, you will RC.
Day 8: Was it Lucid?
