# The Big Riddle Topic (Beware of Brain Damage) - Part 5

Oh interesting! Mmm… thinks

I gotta think this over… still doesn’t make any sense.

That was a good one. Typical of a ghost to hide himself!

I’ll try to explain it in another way: the picture is divided into two pieces (above-below). Almost every ghost is divided into two: above the line you see 1/2 of a ghost and below the line is the remaining 1/2 part. Together that makes 1 ghost (1/2 + 1/2). But there are two ghosts who are not divided into two pieces (1 piece below, 0 pieces above, or the other way round). Let’s now take a look at the 2nd picture. Every ghost here has received another top or bottom but still every ghost counts as 1 (1/2 + 1/2). Even the two anomalies which were 1 ghost in the first picture are now treated as only 1/2 part of a ghost. So here you get: 2 * 1/2 = 1 ghost. So the total amount of ghosts decreases from 16 to 15, simply because these two ghosts have now become both 1/2 part of a ghost, so together they are now 1 ghost instead of 2. I hope this makes some sense to you now

Alright, here’s the next. Bear with me as I’m just making this up…

The garbage of some is treasure to others,
You can always find me under the covers
Of your bed, and also on top,
Rabbits bring me along wherever they hop.

I’ll be with you in heaven, I’m also in hell,
But you’ll never know it because of the smell.
I only travel with those who care,
Or better said, with those who share.

They say two heads are better than one,
But if we have three, I think you should run.
Two of us bring life, death may come with the third,
The answer to this riddle lies in one word.

Loved by the short and loved by the tall,
To solve this riddle, you’ve got to think small.
I’m right behind you, but you don’t have a clue,
Still don’t know who I am? Just look in your shoe.

I’m here, I’m there, I’m in your ear,
I’m with you in peace, and moreso in fear.
Six letters or one, it’s all the same,
it’s also the answer to this little game.

nits! just a wild guess, seemed about right…

doesn’t work everywhere…

Is it a five letter word?

No. Here’s another hint…

Loved by the short and loved by the tall,
To solve this riddle, you’ve got to think small.

God maybe?

can this word be abrieviated into 3 Letters?

Not God, not three letter abbreviation (that I know of) PM me maybe.

Darn this is a difficult one… headache…

Can’t you give us another hint?

I’m right behind you, but you don’t have a clue,
Still don’t know who I am? Just look in your shoe.
I’m here, I’m there, I’m in your ear,
I’m with you in peace, and moreso in fear.
Six letters or one, it’s all the same,
it’s also the answer to this little game.

Since this is taking a while and since maybe I just made a bad riddle, here is the answer and explanation… read if you’re ready! (you may not like it )

The garbage of some is treasure to others,
You can always find me under the covers
Of your bed, and also on top,
Rabbits bring me along wherever they hop.

The waste of plants is precious to animals.
Under the bed, on top of the bed, everywhere.
Rabbits breathing oxygen.

I’ll be with you in heaven, I’m also in hell,
But you’ll never know it because of the smell.
I only travel with those who care,
Or better said, with those who share.

I assume there is oxygen in heaven, there has to be in hell
b/c of combustion. Oxygen is odorless.
Chemistry related: an oxygen atom never travels alone
It always shares electrons with other atoms.

They say two heads are better than one,
But if we have three, I think you should run.
Two of us bring life, death may come with the third,
The answer to this riddle lies in one wOrd.

Breatheable oxygen is O2. O3 is is ozone and
is toxic to breathe. If you inhale too much ozone,
You will die. The answer “O” in One wOrd.

Loved by the short and loved by the tall,
To solve this riddle, you’ve got to think small.
I’m right behind you, but you don’t have a clue,
Still don’t know who I am? Just look in your shoe.

“Loved” by everyone, is very small, is “everywhere.”

I’m here, I’m there, I’m in your ear,
I’m with you in peace, and moreso in fear.
Six letters or one, it’s all the same,
it’s also the answer to this little game.

At peace, you breathe. In fear, you breathe harder.
Oxygen = O

Yes, some of the explanations require you to think back to high school chemistry, but I was hoping those parts wouldn’t be necessary to solve the whole thing. Oh well . Whoever wants to post the next one, go ahead. Sorry if that riddle sucked, it was my first one.

Very tricky.

It makes sense when you read the solution (like all riddles ) and I had the suspicion that the answer was ‘air’…

Anyway, nice work. I think you’re the only person to actually propose your own riddle rather than simply pasting it from a website somewhere.

Does anyone else think they can make one up?

Whoa excellent work sage!!! Really I’m impressed by your riddle skills! And it’s indeed a very tricky one Good one!

I don’t think I’m capable of making such riddles on my own. Perhaps if I get a few years time to think about it…

I must say that is one of the few that has ever stumped me.
Good Job!
