Tonight I tried to lucid dream thru WILD…I woke up around 1:00 am and did everything as it is supposed to go. I don’t really recall the process of doing WILD, I was so tired that I think it went by very fast.
So, I was laying there in bed, and I decide to give up. I try to do a realty check, just to be sure, and…it looks like I’m dreaming. But it is all black, as if there was no light at all, just like being in bed.I can’t really feel my limbs. But the RC doesn’t lie, I thought, therefore I must be lucid dreaming!(And it all looked very…dreamish, if you know what I mean)
Anyways, I’m in this complete darkness. I think about things, hoping that something may came out from the black. Nothing. I try rubbing my hands, and I saw sparks of color(as the afterimage of a candle of something bright). Yet nothing comes out.
What happened next I don’t know, maybe I lost lucidity, maybe I awoke and went back to sleep.
Now, what was this? And…how to make something comes out of the Black?
Well, I’ve never had a completely dark dream, but I recall dreams where my eyes kept wanting to close and I couldn’t get them to stay open. You could possibly try something like imagining that you have a blindfold on and then take it off. Also, lately in some of my LDs and FLDs I’ve finally gotten myself to tell my dream what I want (like this morning I wanted golf balls in my empty bucket, so I told the bucket, I guess, that I wanted golf balls, and as I watched, golf balls appeared, filling the bucket). Similarly, you could yell into your dream that you want a scene to appear or that you want light.
Hope this gives you some ideas or spurs your own ideas!
I never tried to “talk” to the dream (often I’ve trouble talking in dreams, that is my only big obstruction so far), anyway I’ll give it a try in case the problem arises again
Thanks!
It happened to me too but the darkness fell in the middle of a dream, not at the beginning. Whatever I want to do or have in a dream, I just concentrate, even if it doesn’t work as well as other things (talking, yelling, etc), I prefer just thinking of it.
You have to experiment and try everything, that way you will know what works best for you.
Sometimes, it’s hard to control a dream.
… especially in soviet Russia where dream controls you.
