moved from Lab to General Lucidness because you aren’t conducting an actual experiment, and like you say yourself, it’s impossible to conduct now when you read your post
I noticed several people complain about being unable to actually “Do” anything in a LD, and that although they are dreaming, they have no control, and can’t do anything. I believe that this might be triggered by the fact that we keep recycling the information that it won’t work, and keep telling them that “it took me a few tries, but you’ll get it eventually!”.
I predict that if you tell people about it, but drop all forms of negativity, they might be able to get it on their first try. Don’t tell them that anything is harder or easier (it’s different for everyone anyway), just tell them that they can do it. (but include the information that it may take a while before it happens, that part is definitely needed, otherwise after day 1 they may become doubtful again because they “couldn’t do it”) The only problem with this kind of data is that everyone reading this has already experienced some of the negativity. I think however, that if you get people to know about this, but make sure that no matter what they don’t find reports of being unable to do stuff in LD’s, (if you do, you can bluff, I guess although I don’t like lieing at all I’m not against you doing it for benefit) and so will honestly believe that they can get it done on their first try. Don’t tell them that doubt will hinder them, just tell them they can do it on their first try.
It will become true, you know.
At least, in theory.
