Last night, I had the strangest dream yet. It started off as an ND that was totally random and all, like a normal dream. Suddenly, the dream became incredibly vivid, almost like waking life, and I felt the familiar tug of waking up. I became lucid in that instant and willed myself so hard NOT to awake. I heard my little sister waking up but it was muffled and echoed in the background. My sight blurred and I saw little golden dots sparkle along it. Everything became much brighter too.
I then heard this voice. An unfamiliar deep and powerful voice. It boomed around me. I was on top of a hill and I listened to it spread down the valley and across the world. “This, is the very fabric of the dream world. The zero space between the many planes of existence. This is where waking life, astral life and dreams all meet at a point.”
Silence. I could feel the breeze across my cheek. I surveyed the landscape. I then just knew that if I walked down the hill, I’d awaken, and If I flew up, I’d enter the astral plane. I looked up at the sky. It was very alien than that of real life. It WAS blue, but the clouds weren’t the same. They were writhing and moving too fast, swirling patterns across my brain.
I felt my feet lift from the ground, I began to rise. I saw this amazing warmth of light. Then, a familiar sensation I get when trying to OOBE filled my body. I was vibrating. The rushing noises around my ears, the clouds moved faster. I had this weird feeling of moving incredibly fast but upwards.
It crescendoed so much I almost forced myself awake. Then my vision went white and total silence. “You’re not ready.” Said the voice. Then I awoke.
I really don’t understand this at all. Can someone explain to me what I experienced?
i think it was a very cool lucid dream and you can be glad to be able to remember it that well. that you can’t understand some things, is quite normal, as many of us have sometimes dreams that are hard to understand. you have now two possibilitys: try to figure out the sense of the dream in you next LD, or just leave it and follow your next goals.
People that had some AP’s had reported of some dangerous and hostile planes, where it’s not safe at all to venture into, and as such one should be prepared properly.
About who that voice was, I have absolutely no idea, but it sure was an important figure O_o and congrats anyway on the cool experience. Enjoy your LD’s at the moment, you may become ready in some time
I became lucid last night, and I called out to the voice “Am I ready yet?” and I received no answer. I even attempted to find the hill again, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. When I asked my mum in the dream she looked at me and said “What are you talking about?” But apparently something changed her mind and she whispered in my ear, but her voice was different, it was the powerful voice again but quieter, “Don’t seek me, I’ll come to you.” Then It turned into an ND.
Holy crap, that’s awesome! If I were in your place I’d be feeling kinda lost, not knowing what to do to “get ready”. So I guess you could then work on your DR, to get it as good as you can, so you can remember as many dream experiences you have, in case it comes to you.
these two dreams of yours have been really cool to read, thanks for posting. stuff like this is hard to comment on, you know? i’d say you gotta look inside to try and figure out what they mean (if anything). cheers!

I’m not one to believe in AP and OOBE stuff (while I’ve thought about it with an open mind, I’m highly skeptical about it), so from my point of view it seems to be purely your subconscious. I wonder what you need to be “ready” for, and how you get there…very cool. It’s like unlocking a hidden part of yourself that you still don’t know about. AP or SC, I wish you luck!

Some people are regarding this as a normal LD… or maybe an AP…
Idk much about what its like being in either so I cannot help… But it seems like ( and I would sure like to think that) this isnt your average dream…

Improve DR for sure… and in your next LD, if you remember, try to look further into this… Although, unfortunately it might jsut be your SC…

I’d suggest to enjoy your next LD’s as much as possible, getting the most out of them, developing powers, growing in confidence and induction techniques etc., that way you’ll grow more and more experienced, and one day he will come to you again
