The mighty power of writing "Am I Dreaming?"

I have so much schoolwork I can’t tell anything now. I will when I get the chance though

how come i’m the only one who hasn’t had luck with this??? God dammit i want LDs i haven’t even had a good one yet…

If you are so determined, perhaps combine with WBTB - set your alarm for 6+ hours after you sleep and remember to stay up for 30-60 minutes with nothing else on your mind but Lucid Dreaming

@lordrrr
Ok whenever you get a chance!

I did no reality checks yesterday, and I wrote this stuff down last week 150times, so…

btw.
I was in an LD and I knew I would wake up soon, since I just went back to bed. In 30 minutes I had 6 different FAs

Wow this is working for me too i think :cool_laugh:

Yesterday i woke up 5 to 7 times in one night. (It was from ~23.00 - 07.00 because of school).

Anyone know why i woke up so much? I think i woke up in the middle of the dreams… It was not FA because i did two reality checks everytime i woke up.

I don’t have anything against waking up in the night but after the fifth time it could get annoying

Well this seems to be working in some point so ill keep writing Am i Dreaming

Lets see…

Last night 3 ND and no LD

still resounding success

Has anyone sucessfully done this with typing?

I think I might try that,

i don’t see why typing wouldn’t work…

It’s basically the same as saying it out loud but for some reason it works better

The same thing happened to me after I started this technique. Well - sort of. I didn’t exactly wake up but rather I felt like I was constantly waking up during the night (into Lucid Dreams).

Oh well  i’ve been slacking off heaps so no lucid d’s for me as of late.

me too!.. except I had FAs

One thing I leik is waking up, writing in my DJ, and then sleeping in. There was another topic around here about someone talking about sleeping in>WBTB cuz it’s kinda like WBTB but your more determined to go to sleep.

Well you wouldn’t want to oversleep…

I tried this stuff as soon as I saw this topic, and now I’ve finally read it all…
For me it has done the same as to Poppp and NeoMarine, as in I wake up all the time, sometimes without even noticing but then I remember it at morning. Well, been having quite great ND’s so perhaps it’s working (and I see no reason why it wouldn’t be).
Will have to keep writing and check further results from you…

Great… keep us posted

I noticed that I also had better NDs from this as well as the obvious LDs.

If we type it out, is it the same thing? I personally find hand-writing it to be time consuming and irritating.

We should test it,

I’ll do that tonight I guess, someone else should as well, so we can at least see if there are differing results.

Edit: Okay, I’ve typed “Am i dreaming?” 52 times in notepad, with one RC (looking at my hands) every 3 lines.

Edit: Nothing tonight, not a ND, hell not even SP.

I have now written various stuff for many nights, including “Am I Dreaming?” “I will see a dream in which I do a RC and notice I am dreaming” and “I will remember my dreams
Results: I remember at least 2 dreams per night, 1 Lucid (short, but clear one) and I also seem to sleep more restfully, for some reason. I did not use any other suggestion method during this trial, so I am pretty confident that writing really helps. Why didn’t I think of this? Oh well, I am glad that someone did.

Yes this is a very powerful technique…

Last night I had an awesome Lucid Dream! I wrote about it in my dream journal.
