When you just wake up from a dream, keep your eyes closed. Think to yourself that you will be dreaming soon. Then you should fade into a new dream, fully concius, without HI.
I did this last night, along with a WBTB and MILD. It works well, and may have having a lucid dream.
That pretty much is a WBTB/WILD, imho… but good stuff, i will have to remember to condition myself not to move and also try this. Had trouble sleeping last night, but ended up lucid dreaming through it… I think it will happen again soon, so i’ll report back.
Yeah…for the past few nights, i have been conditioning myself to close my eyes as soon as i wake up…Hope fully it will be done soon, so i can have an LD every night.
Shatterspike- instead of conditioning yourself(which may take a while and its not easiest there) you can use a sleeping mask or some kind of cloth on your eyes(i do it 2 months in summer when i have allergy to prevent myself from touching my eyes by accident).
First 2-3 nights can feel some slight discomfort but soon i get used to it easily.
This way you have “one slot” free for conditioning.
just an idea:)
yea thats the method where i get LDs everytime when i use it. just at weekends though when i can sleep as long as i want :>.
you just should be a bit awake to think right but not stand up or something. just imagine a dream and maybe the phrase that you are dreaming or something and in the next moment you find yourself in a dream
I can see how it would work so good, but like you said trying to close your eyes as soon as you open them could be a challage. Especialy how my memory works in the morning
Yeah I have this in the mornings mostly. When I wake up and I’m really tired I just close my eyes and keep imagining the dream like if it kept going then I fall asleep within a minute or two and I fall back into the dream.
This has worked for me as well, especially on weekend mornings when I can sleep in very late. I did it this morning. Woke up and was going to get up and thought…nah, I’ll go back to sleep and dream some more. No LD but I did have a funky fun dream
with the WBTB/WILD technique in the morning can you use an alarm clock to wake you up, then turn it off and use WILD technique from their or does it have to be your biological clock that wakes you?
Most people use alarm clock. With busy day routine it could be hard and took quite a while to set your biological clock to wake up after some time.No need for it- you`re fine with any:)
