Theory: You've naturally succeeded!

Hi, i was thinking last night about this for a while… I wanted to state (rather humorously, i admit, it’s a far-fetched & outlandish theory ) that basically, virtually, all men have probably succeeded in an aspect of MILD at least at one time or another. And im not saying that women haven’t, I’m just using men to illustrate my point a little more easily… hehe… you’ll see.

This comes to play at that certain age where hormones start doing their thing and whatnot, you know what i mean. And that’s the biggest disclaimer, that hormones may be the largest factor in this “success”. But when you’re at that age, and for long periods of time, you’re thinking about a certain thing quite often. (let’s play a game and see how far we can go without saying it lol) And one of the aspects of mild is getting yourself to to recognize that you’re dreaming by imagining that you are dreaming with the knowledge of doing so. Now, have you succeeded in becoming lucid? No. But you probably have succeeded at a portion of that technique by subconsciously programming a later ND, and having one of those awsome dreams about… well, you know. Let’s face it, that concept dominates a portion of our mentality when going through the post-adolescent phase. And when you’re thinking about it for extended periods of time, you’re bound to dream about it. What do you think about that connection?

Oh, and, sex. there. I said it. game over.

Can’t say it’s a success in LDing, but I believe this to be true, I’ve read somewhere men apparently, somehow, think about THAT every 6-7 seconds. Perverts we are.

Oh yeah, your right it’s not success at becoming lucid, but I think it’s a relatively unrealized acheivment of the first steps of getting a technique down. The little milestones should be celebrated! It’s step by step, my friend! plus, it’s good to realize this for motivational purposes. You think, “you know, yeah! I’ve done this! It doesn’t seem so daunting of a task now…” I like to bring out practical examples, I think they’re the most easily understood.
