I was wondering… The things we see, read, watch, live all get into our SC, right? It’s easy, looking at my DJ, to see the things I like, such as movies, comics, manga, anime, books and games. This works the same way for everyone, I guess.
But still, I wonder: why some stuff that sometimes REALLY matter to us never get in our dreams? Or why some of the experiences we had take a long time to get into our dreams, while others happen fast? Anyone knows these answers?
Hmm, stuff that REALLY matters to me comes through in my dreams all the time! But of course not everything in real life can come through in our dreams, because reality is just so complex and huge - I doubt there’d be room for our brains to replicate it all at once.
The answer si simple: What is consciecly important to you, doesn’t necesserily concerns your SC. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t, but it is never alway one thing or another.
Also, things you think about less consciously, or thoughts that you cut before finishing, and thoughts you thinks before going to sleep usually have more impact on your dreams, IE, you SC-ly think them, and they therfore enter your dreams.
A more precise statement will be that “our brain can easily imitate reality no matter how complex”. That’s because you think that things are even when they are not. For instance, you can sometimes recall that there were hundred people in a place, but when you recall it more throughuly, you can only remember ten individuals.
When you watch a movie once, you often make mistakes about facts in it, and change them.
