For a long time now iv’e been having these dreams whilst doing WBTB where you are still aware of your body in bed, and it doesn’t fully feel like a dream. I don’t consider them dreams but the ‘dreams’ themselves can be very amazing and vivid. Is it possible to become lucid in these ‘dreams’? I really feel like it isn’t. It’s more like my imagination is going crazy whilst i’m still awake. O.o I can wake up from 1 dream think about the 1 I had, and easily without any effort jump into the next, whilst still fully aware that I am doing it just not becoming lucid because of this ‘fake’ feeling?
But it could just be me thinking I can feel my body, and this is a wall I need to knock down to get another stupid thought out of my head that stops me from getting lucid very often.
Doesn’t happen to me… But I’d suggest log rolling when you get (a vivid) one, then stand up. It sounds like you are dreaming, so it should be your dream body that moves (even if it feels like your real body), and log rolling works for some reason. Don’t just imagine it, actually do it like you would in waking life. Might also want to put your bed against a wall, so you don’t inadvertently tumble out.
I’m lucid all the time in those and they are as close to dreams as you can get while still feeling your WL body. If you manage to get more of the dream sensations, and get in touch with your dream body, then you’re officially in a dream I often use walking with my dream body, it ìs enough for me to feel the majority of it at once.
I love that whole inbetween theme of these “dreams.” From your description, they sound like the transition stage one goes through when performing WILD, so as Tosxy said, you could try to use your dream body to move the focus a bit.
It’s certainly possible to be lucid during these moments. Best of luck!
