I have been reading Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the inner Self by Robert Waggoner, and I am absolutely in awe of him and this book. One of the things he did in his Lucid Dreams is trying to establish whether the people and things around him in an LD where things he created or were things his inner self had made. He called out ,“All thought-forms must now disappear.” and they did. He was also wrote about dream guides.
So last night when I realized I was dreaming I flew off wanting to see my dream-buddy when the road changed into a freeway (no freeways on Kauai) so I was somewhere else. I then called out while flying, “I want to meet my dream-guide.” All of a sudden I felt myself being veered in a different direction I flew over hot boiling mud that looked like lava but was black, I could feel the heat rising upward. There was a marble ledge that I landed on and an entrance to a building. Once inside I met 3 people. An older man, a woman and a younger but odd looking fella. I immediately assumed that the older man was my dream-guide, turns out he wasn’t, he didn’t much like humanity because of all the atrocities we committed. The woman only laughed. I then realized it was probably the odd fella who might be my dream-guide, he was leaving but turned around, smiled and said, “Don’t worry we will meet again.” I realized that I had just assumed older people to be wiser
I then got a chance to try Robert Waggoner"s idea, as I walked into a room of people. I looked around and thought to try and see which of these people my mind was creating. I hollered, “Thought-people go away!” (not exactly the same words as R. W.) and poof! I was standing in an empty room. I tried to do the same in the next room, which had music in it, but to my surprise they were ahead of me, knowing what I was going to do. When I started hollering, “Thought-people go away,” they cranked up the music so loud that no one could hear me holler.
I lost lucidity after that. But that was pretty clever of the people in my dream. Very cool!
That is cool! I have to try that!
yes dreams are fascinating places
sometimes i am in a world with many doors and different realities ,
today i was in an army and my job was to give this conductor machine powering a vehicle praise so that it would keep working, and the other people weren’t doing a good job at keeping it going , then we had to go to a school and take tons of guns away from students, i am surprised at how many weapons they had,
what i was doing all this for i am really not sure , it would be a good question for me to ask while such a dream is happening.
Meeting my dream guide/spirit guide is my current goal. Unfortunatly, lucid dreams have become quite evasive. I’m lucky if I have a brief glimpse of lucidity once a month, (The reason why I came back to this site recently).
I am pleased to see that you were able to accomplish that, and with such ease.
Besides that, great post. Dream characters are very pecuilar, aren’t they.
Have you met your dream guide yet?
Yes dream characters are interesting. So real!
No, unfortunatly lucid dreams these days are few and far between. And when I do manage to get lucid, I’m too busy with other things.
As soon as I get back on a good lucid rhythm again, I’m going to find my Dream guide(s).
I already have it planned out, once lucid, I’m going to visit a nearby Kiosk, or information center, and find him/her/it that way.
I’m still setting my focus on lucid dreaming in general, because I’ve only been truly into the subject for roughly a month now.
Reading posts like this really gets me excited about the potential of the goals I have set, and after reading R.W.'s book, every post like this inspires me!
I hope to hear more of his tests in action, and soon I will be doing the same myself!
Well done
