In december 2010 i started to learn more about lucid dreaming and i was actually so excited that i had my first (small) lucid dream +/- 3 weeks after the day i found out the word “lucid dreaming”… before i had no experience with lucid dreaming at all. A few more LD’s followed but after that my life actually changed a bit… got a GF etc so i didn’t have enough time to focus my whole time on LD’s.
Now i want to get back to lucid dreaming so bad, but still i don’t really have a lot of time to focus on lucid dreaming. i remember at least 1 / 2 dreams every night, but only write it down once in a week or less. I know this part is crucial and want to work on it… but can anyone give me advise on what technique i should focus?
I’ve been trying WBTB + MILD alot, had a few time success… But the WILD / DEILD technique looks much more interesting for me now…
What techniques did you used before? Only WBTB and MILD?
If you never tried WILD or DEILD , it’s a good idea to try those.
Use WBTB, when waking up early in the morning or night, write any deam you remember (to wake up your mind) do some basic map, and try a WILD
Or if at any moment you wake up without moving, don’t waste this DEILD opportunity.
A DJ helps the DR, 1/2 dreams per night is good, but you can perfect it even more.
Yes, mostly i tried WBTB+MILD but didn’t really had very good results with it.
Now i started to try to lucid dream again, i tried DEILD 3 times or so… but i couldn’t stay focused and fell asleep. so it’s worth trying more! Maybe indeed i should focus on DEILD / WILD since i didn’t really give this technique the chance yet.
There are tons and tons of guides and advices here on how to WILD. They are all true but they are also mostly personal experiences. They may help you but they could also not help you. Of course you can read it no hurt in that but my point is that WILD is something for what you nee time and by experimenting every night or on night you feel like to it you will get only success…
Trying to force things won’t work… Experiment and see for yourself, if you have any question I’ll be more then happy to answer them, but keep in mind that they are from my personal experience and things may completely be different or not with you, so basically you need to experiment! [I love word experiment as you can see ]
Thanks for the replies and i’ve chosen to focus myself on the WILD technique and if i wake up and don’t move i just go for DEILD… I’ve read lots of tutorials for these techniques and actually already making some progress.
