I’ve stopped all the WILD etc and this week I’m suddenly get LDs!
First one 2 days ago I knew I was dreaming but woke up, but today I knew I was dreaming and then I rubbed my hands and made sure I didnt wake up, and I didnt but then for some reason I donno what happened, but I went back to normal dreams.

I’ve read somewhere that if you take a break from thinking about LDing, you might get spontaneous ones! Perhaps you were trying too hard before?

I know how frustrating it is when you hit a dry spell. When this happens you just have to be patient and not to stress out over it, your dreams WILL return. As T3RM1N4TOR said perhpas you were just trying too hard.
Wow another one yesterday! Again I’ve realised and I immediately woke up, no time to even try and rub hands. Any advice?

I don’t know if there’s much to do when you get lucid and don’t get the time to rub your hands, or whatever… I believe with time you might get a bit less excited that you’re lucid and that might give you a few more seconds to react…

I’m just trying MILD except I’m doing it a lot by saying to myself ‘I’m going to have a Lucid Dream’ fast as a I can 9 times out loud, then on the tenth I ask myself real fast ‘I’m I going to have a Lucid Dream tonight?’ until I can say Yes immediately without thinking, I repeat.
I figured if I can say yes instinctively that must sink deeper into my conscious than just repeating.
Its been almost full proof , the only time I didn’t get it is the first time.
Thats an awesome idea! I think that is a great new take on mild. As long as I’m not too tired tonight Ill give it a shot:-)
I tried it last night, together with normal MILD and a bit of WILD.
No LD. Damn dry spell!!!
anyway, it was my first time, so I’ll try it again and see what happens.
It didn’t work on my first day either, and I didnt get it yesterday but I went to sleep 40 minutes after I did it yesterday.
What I’ve noticed is that I have full control in my dreams now, almost like I’m watching my dream in a movie, I don’t know I’m in the dream but every time I think I should do something I end up doing it.
Its really working for me.
You know what you can do to hold the lucid longer. It helps me, is the next time your lucid look at four different things. Just at a glance. Pick your first thing to look at then look at three more things just breifly. When you feel your loseing focus go back to the first thing you were looking at and it gives you a surge of energy. That well let you stay lucid longer. Try it, it works.

I’ve found if I focus to hard it becomes impossible. Sometimes I plan what I’m going to do though as I often just sit around in LD’s being bored!! laughs
