Two Questions About Methods

What up all,

Ive been reading lately about MILD and WILD and i was thinking, do you think if you made an audio recording saying “I will fall asleep and have a dream and remember my dream and become lucid” and looped it over and over again at a soft volume while you are falling asleep it would have the same effect as MILD. Also, since writing something supposedly helps you learn it better, do you think writing “I will have a lucid dream” repeatedly helps?

I had that thought in mind… about the audio… I guess it will have the same effect as you saying it

Some have experimented with audio recordings like this, and some have had success.

It sounds like a good idea to try the writing technique too.
What I find about writing out a dream diary is that forming the images into words help me recall more of the dream. I don’t think it helps me “learn more” but it just helps recall those foggy memories.

I would give them both a try! they are both good ideas.

maybe you can make it loop only for the time it takes to fall asleep, or for say one REM period. combined with a brief awakening at night sounds good. volume wise I’m sure you can put it low enough just to inaudiable, should still get through

let us know how it goes

I would say the mantra yourself before going to sleep so you really set a strong intention to remember when you are dreaming. Then, set the recording that says, “you are dreaming” to go off at times when you are likely to be in REM sleep.

I would be interested to know how the audio recording goes. If anyone tries it, keep us posted.
