Raven

I believe the only person who can answer that is yourself.

I’ve had many dreams where I remember a word or phrase and think its of great importance so I google it for hours looking to find some hidden meaning and wind up with nothing. You need to remember what context it was in when you heard it and think what that means to you.

To me it means “rebirth”… and I saw a plant growing in a pot. The word ulalume was written on the pot.

Hi Raven24,

Many people believe Ulalume comes from the Latin verb ululare, which means “to wail”. Now in the context of your dream, it certainly means another thing without any relation to the meaning of the word. If I remember well, the poem is about someone who inconsciously comes again near the tomb of his beloved. It means a cyclical destiny and restarting the same thing without noticing it. That’s perhaps why you saw it on the pot of a growing plant and you associate it with rebirth - a dead event which starts again.

Now why having posted this in the Beyond Dreaming forum? :eh:
