Undistiguished reality/Dreaming

Has anyone ever had a dream and then waken up feeling like it actualy happened, like the results from the events that took place were real and existed? Like one time I had a dream I got a new tooth brush and for some reason I was extremely excited, like it was wonderful or something :eh: Then I woke up with that feeling and went into the bathroom to find the same old tooth brush, thinking a new one would be there.
I felt suprised, saying, “where is that other tooth brush? I swear I just bought it yesterday! I remember!”

What I am asking is that have you ever been unable to dustinguish the line between reality and dreaming? and have been fooled for a while? maybe days, months, hours, minutes?
Maybe a YEAR!

I’ve only been fooled for a few seconds after waking up. I had a dream where I had a new phone, and I woke up, remembering Ihad a new phone, but realised it was only in a dream.

Not like that, but sometimes when I recall memories I can’t tell if it was a dream or reality. A couple times I’ve actually said to people “hey, did this happen last week?” or something.

Yeah, the same for me, Immortal.
Once, I asked my mother (in real life) if she has said me something very precise (I don’'t remember). My mother said no, she was a little surprised that I asked her this.
Afterwards, I realized that in fact, I confounded the reality with a dream I had beforehand. Indeed, in this dream, I asked my mother the same question.
I don’t remember this dream as well.

I’ve had some trouble several nights about what time it is. I’m not sure if I am dreaming that my alarm clock is that time or if I actually just have insomnia that night.

It’s creepy because everytime I can vividly see and tell what time it is and I’m not sure if it’s for real or in my dream.

Wgen I was about 5-7, I was totally convinced that something happened… And I was like telling people the story and stuff, there were a few things wrong with it (like my grandmother just ran right through the scene), but I always dismissed that, thinking that the dream had actually happened.

It’s not until now that realize it was all a dream. ^^

When I was about 5-7, I was totally convinced I could fly. :colgate:

I still get those dream stories though that I mix up with RL, less frequently when I stop trying to recall my dreams. Like nowadays. Though, for the longest time, one of my favorite catch-phrases was “either that or I dreamed it.”

Yes, it’s quite a nice feeling until you get dissapointed by that it was only a dream.
