Using Dreamsigns that you don't see everyday in Real Life.

Hey guys and girls.

I have a few Dreamsigns that I regularly notice in dreams.

  1. Being in my old school buildings or classrooms.
  2. Being in my old work buildings or environment.
  3. Regular characters from both of these environments are constantly intertwining.

But my problem with this is reality checks. I never see these places or people in real life anymore, haven’t for years. Maybe on Facebook sometimes, where I can do a RC but even that’s rare.

My question is which is the best way to use these frequent Dreamsigns, when the only place I see them is when I’m asleep?

Some tips or methods that people have used here to get around this issue would be brilliant.

Thanks.

I guess you could try to program it into your brain that you will wake up if you see these things by spending some time daily visualising seeing those things but visualise immediately once you see them, that you will wake physically. (If you do end up seeing one of those things then in a dream and wake up physically, dont forget to immediately do a reality check).

Spend maybe a couple of 5 min periods per day doing that (one right before bed). Use your emotions too in the visualisation… how excited you will feel to see a school building as it means you are dreaming. You can visualise things like a sign in front of the school saying “dreaming” to try to create a reminder into your dream settings.

If your old teachers often appear in your dreams, you could imagine having conversation with them about LD … or of them telling you you are dreaming.

Yeah, I’m thinking now the best way to go might be using a mnemonic type thing, maybe visualising work and school colleagues sitting in a classroom staring at a blackboard with “This is a Dream” on it.

Maybe visualising that several times during the day and then a RC might make me do it if I see a similar scene in a dream.
