Using my alarm clock to induce lucid dreams?

My alarm clock can be set to play a cd as an alarm. I was wondering if I made a cd containing some kind of specific sound played over and over again at a certain time while I am sleeping that I will hear it while dreaming and thus become lucid. Could this work? What kind of sound or audio files do you guys know of that would work? Also, what time should I set it to go off after I sleep? My sleeping hours vary but I usually get to sleep by around 12 - 1 AM.

Thanks!

There are some downloadable tracks that say things such as “You are dreaming” or “Do a reality check” with soft music/sounds in the background which have worked for some people. There is a free one that comes with the program Infinity, and there are probably others if you did a bit of searching. I have heard that making your own with your own voice works better, but I’m not sure if theres any real proof of that. Binaural beats can also be used. You have to listen to them with headphones or else they won’t work properly though.

As for the time, you should probably set it to go off sometime around 5:00 to 6:00 AM.

Be careful not to put it on so loud u wake up

listen to it while your awake and do reality checks every time you encounter a certain part of the audio track, then in the morning when it starts playing it will trigger a reality check while your asleep
