Very long dream feelings

Hey everyone,

This night was one of the longest nights for me. I think I woke up 2\3 times and continued dreaming afterwards, but that made it even longer for me.

All of the dreams I had took very long. But what I always notice, that dreams give you odd feelings as well. On a positive way. This night one of the dreams I had was that I was walking on a bridge in the night, but it felt so special, as if I was leading a different life in the dream. Nostalgic. Yeah Nostalgic is the word I am looking for. It feels nostalgic, though it has nothing to do with the past.

Where do these feelings come from? Am I the only one with them?

i’ve often had those feelings, but i think it was earlier. like, that’s why i used to write down my dreams some 5 years ago, cause i felt like it’s all another life, and almost every single one had that nostalgic feeling you’re talking about. but now i rarely have dreams with that anymore :meh: now they’re mostly just nonsense (and i can’t get LDs :ohno: ) so too bad. maybe i grew out of nostalgic dreams :meh:
when i was a kid, dreams were my refuge from the sucky world. i think that’s why they mostly became ‘nostalgic’ like that.

Yeah, this happens with dreams for me too sometimes, though usually I’m left with emotions that are a bit more unpleasant or have to do with sadder stuff. I’ve always had nightmares, but I always say that I’d miss my nightmares if they went away since they’re such a big part of me. My last dream this morning was really pretty, but also got me feeling a bit sad this morning when I woke up because of the context. I really should start keeping a DJ again.
