Very weird floating experience during WILD. normal?

last night i woke up at 520AM, stayed up for about 10 minutes, then went back to bed. I immediatley began to try a WILD ( I have never successfully done this). My body was already super relaxed so i just tried to keep my mind from wandering. Now the next thing I remember is that i was now laying in bed and my entire body was vibrating. It gradually got more intense until finally everything kind of “exploded”. I dont really know how to explain it but the feeling was kind of like in the moives during a loud battle scene and then all of a sudden time stops and everything is quiet and you see a guy falling or something. All of the vibrations just stopped and then i felt myself focused into one point. Then i felt my body slowly lifting up out of my bed. After about 5 seconds of “being suspended in the air” i jolted back into my bed and lost focus on the point and the vibrations came back, like in the movie when the “stop in time” ends and the battle continues.
All of this is what i remembered in the morning, but it was pretty hazy for me. Also the i dont remember anything from when i started the WILD to when i felt the vibrations. I was thinking that all of this may have actaully only been a dream, since if i was completely conscience i would have remembered it better. But during the entire WILD experience. my eyes were closed, it was just that i was “feeling” everything.
What does this sound like to you guys- just weird dream or some crazy OBE type thing.
Also has anyone had a dream where there eyes are closed?

Yes, this sounds like you were very close to success with WILD. You will have to decide if it was close to the start of an LD, or an OOBE. :content: That is a question of belief.
I think that you were at the transition point, but didn’t move on into a dream, or OOBE. The floating out of your body is the point where you could have moved into an LD, or OOBE. The best way to do that depends on you. Some people just start controling where they float. Others do other things to get into a dream, like spinning.
As to having your eyes closed durring the dream/experience, that is normal. If you look around here on the fourm, you will see that lots of people have different things to say about closed eyes, becoming blind in a dream, and closing your eyes in an LD.
