Vitamins

hey i was wondering something about b vitamins…if i want them to help me in my lucid dreaming, do i have to buy b vitamins by themselves, or can i get the same results from a multivitamin? thanks

I think b6 alone is more effective than a multivit thing… dunno exactly.
I just wanted to tell you something I read:
A guy took 630 ml of some stuff (forgot the name), some ten milligramms of melatonin and 1 g of vit b6 at once. He wrote that it was the most vivid dream nicht he ever experienced. He even said that while awake, taking a piss, he was kind of halucinating/dreaming…

wow… so can i just by some B6 from a drugstore? andthe melatonin thing too? are them safe? sounds effective… :cheesy:

I don’t know if you can buy it everywhere. Here in germany you can buy vitamin b6 in a pharmacie. 4€ for 50 pills. Melatonin is a different thing. You need a recipe (don’t know the exact word) to get it. And it’s far more expensive.
Just yesterday I took 100 mg Vitamin b6 an hour or so before I went to bed. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t eaten anything that evening, however it really felt pretty bad in my stomach. The night was pretty funny and worth the little inconvinience. Haven’t had a LD but pretty intensive dreams. In one of them I was followed by a tornado. I realized it was “just” a dream, but that was it for lucidity.
The stuff the guy took was 630 ml valerin. (see post above).

nice… and do you know is B6 vitamin in any food? like, do i get it if i eat lots of something? somewhere i read about bananas and really green vegetables etc., but i’m not sure, that these have anything to do with this. i dunno. :eh:

I’m sure there are certain foods with plenty of b6 in it. The thing is, with a single pill you get 2500% of the usual daily dose of b6. So I’m pretty sure you would have to eat tons of food to get the same amount of that stuff. After my second night with vit b6 I feel a slight headache, almost like I am not really fully awake after 12 hours of sleep…
