Vividness in LDs (Was: Was this exactly a LD?)

I don’t know if what i dreamed this night was a real lucid dream. I tried to LD for months, having some of them of very vivid quality, but they were very short. Then I forgot about LD and, from a weeknow, i’ve become interested again in them.

Last night I took 2 glasses of milk&nesquick and some chocolate to improve dream’s quality and went to bed just thinking “Tomorrow you’ll remember every dream you’ll have tonight”.

The thing is, I’ve had a LD just by realizing in a dream that it was a dream, but It wasn’t as vivid as the old ones. Sometimes it was more like if I was dreaming I had a LD, but I remember myself flying at will and deciding I should see if pizza tasted the same in dreams. It was very long, also, the longest I’ve ever had (and with difference). Was it really a LD or was I dremaing it? Do I remember it not vivid because it was early in the night (I dreamed some things after this LD)?

And what should I do to intensify the feelings and improve LD’s quality?

Edit: I like this new post name better than the old one :peek:

Yes, I’ve had this same thing happen to me. I had one pretty long dream in which I was making decisions and stuff, but when I woke up it seemed as though I had just been dreaming that I was lucid. I think it might have been just a low level of lucidity.

Arekusu: Try eating a banana before gonning to bed. I forget what its called but something in the banana is supossed to help increase the vividness of your dreams.

So you should give it a try.
