Hello! Whenever I have a lucid dream, the main reason I wake up is because after a few seconds of realizing being lucid, within the dream, my eyes start to shut. As if I had kept them opened for 2 minutes and couldn’t resist closing them. They get watery and blurry. As I am closing my eyes without any option, I start to feel my real life body. When my eyes close I wake up.
Any tips on how to combat this? The last lucid dream I had forced me to force my eyelids to open more to prevent waking up. This only lasted for a few seconds, though…
I don’t really know, but theres a great tip for WILDing that might help you in your dream too. You close your eyes and rotate your eyes in their sockets and they calm down and stop moving. Might help your dream experience too
Pretty interesting! Yesterday night, I had around 3 very short lucid dreams with a lot of false wakeups etc. It was chaotic, but amazing!
The first lucid dream was something about a restaurant. That is all I remember, but it was lucid alright!
The second lucid dream was formed from a WILD. This is my second WILD and it feels equally amazing as the first one did. I literally saw a picture get drawn in my mind. It was so amazing and vivid. The entire lucid dream took place in an office, where I was very tiny and stood under a table. The only thing I did was watch the environment I was in…
The third lucid dream was the best one! I am not sure if this was a WILD, but I think the dream started with me being lucid from the first second. I was in my living room, sitting in front of my table. I remembered the “putting on glasses” trick, so I began searching for glasses. I couldn’t find any, so I expected them to be under my table (I couldn’t see where I reached my hand). I didn’t find any When I looked on the table, they were there! So I put them on and that woke me up. It’s kind of funny, because after I woke up I realized I didn’t even have watery eyes. In fact, I didn’t have watery eyes in any of my previous lucid dreams this night.
I think I need to stop focusing on waking up, and actually spending time doing things I enjoy in lucid dreams.
