My nephew and I both are trying to get the hang of lucid dreaming. I’ve had one lucid dream and he’s trying to have his first. Anyways, he told me about his attempt at a WILD today, and wondered if he was close. Here’s what he said happened:
He laid down during the afternoon with the intent of trying to WILD. He closed his eyes and tried to stay conscious in his mind. After a while he began seeing blurry green explosions in his eyes and eventually saw a very clear sword with a skull on the handle spinning around. He tried to focus on it and it came really close to him and it was very clear. He said it made a swooshing noise as it flew by. Soon after he felt warm shivers go up his body a few times and they finally stopped. Then there was a mountain scene and he focused on it hoping to enter it like a dream. It got closer and closer but then his little sister woke him up.
It sounded close to me, but I’m just curious what you guys thought. Is he close? Is there any tips you think that would help him?
