I’ve still been trying WILD with little success, but most people tell me my problem is i’m doing it at the wrong time, namely when i go to bed at night. I hear that WILD in conjunction with WBTB is a very effective way to go about things, so i’d like to know when to wake up while i’m trying to WBTB. My sleeping schedule is i go to bed at about 10:00 PM and wake up at 6:35 PM. Should i maybe try to change something, around here in addition to just trying WBTB? By the way, i spend about 15 minutes on shower/getting dressed and i have to leave for school at at 7:10, so i’d really prefer not to mess with my wake up time.
Are your weekends free? I have to leave for school early in the morning too, so WBTB is usually done on my weekends…
I wouldn’t really recommend doing WBTB during the week if you have school. Every time I try WBTB during the week, well…I end up not getting very much sleep. Sometimes I fall asleep during school
I agree with Gohan WBTB is a better idea on weekends/holidays/vacations/etc.
What you can do during week days is a mini WBTB. If you wake up naturally anytime before your alarm you can open your eyes and do some circles with them, that usually makes me wake up a bit. Then try to WILD. Or anything similar, without actually getting out of bed.
Isn’t that basically chaining? When you wake up just lie completely still don’t move or open your eyes. If you’ve slept like 5-6 hrs then your sleep will be full of REM so you should be able to just fall back into a dream shortly as long as you stay aware.
