do you realise how brave and strong lders have to be. your dreams are the real you, and we joirney into the darkest depts of our minds. we face our nightmares head on. we explore a world of the unknown. if we can do this then we can face anything life theows at us. we face a world that most people hide from. we staired death in the face, we have been witness to horrific dissasters, and much more. so the next time life throws you something you feel you cant handle. look youe fear in the face, and say… ive trained for this, and i will deal with it… IM A LUCID DREAMER. we are the navy seals of the dream world, and our DJ is our sword.
Actually you right!
I don’t want to show off but I think I’m brave, I know that sometimes you need to change things and there’re people who can’t do it.
So in LDs we’re facing the truth and the only one.
That was really ispirational, Kava, thanks for sharing.
Oh, if only everyone could comprehend what beautiful life awaits a LD’er ;D
Thanks Kava, that was really cool! And you are right… we are brave
It definitely takes a certain strength of character to explore something like dreams, especially seeing as our society doesn’t tend to place any importance on them.
That was really inspiritational, and full of awesomeness
I get really frustrated when people are too blind to see how awesome lucid dreaming is, either that or they’re too lazy to give it a go.
I kind of want more people to see the awesomeness of lucid dreaming, but sometimes I also feel really special that I’m a part of the group of people that do see how wonderful it is, and get that feeling that ya get when you know a cool secret that no one else does
Even in our moments of weakness, and grief, dreaming dreams of despair or heartache, we awaken crying or shuddering and say:
Wow, what an intense dream, let me write that down so I don’t forget it.
Rather than running away and trying to forget, we relive it, and relive it again, seeking a deeper meaning, delving unabashed into both the good and bad in our souls.
And at night, instead of being scarred from a prior traumatic experience, we eagerly rush into the next rounds of REM, struggling, often vainly, but with hope and a smile, that we might realize the dream, and awaken within it.
Very poetic Phoenyx. I like it!
If you ask anyone, the most impossible task he/she woud think of is conquering him/herself; people just accept the way they are, and even fear the consequences of important interior change. Yet, every single night, we take the challenge and explore everything our subconscious may reveal to us, showing what the real us is, from our most secret desires to the fears radicated into the deepest roots of our memories; yet, every day we awaken, thanking whoever-in-charge for another day of discovery and possibilities.
It takes courage to walk such a bumpy road. We are chasing what most would call a foolish goal, if not the least useful; meeting contempt, laughter and scorn almost everywhere we might mention our most important interest; yet we continue, letting all snarky comments, all faces of disdain, all failures simply bounce off our skin, leaving us unaffected, to try again and again; till we reach our goal, leaving us truly thankful and satisfacted every single time, but never satiated; each success a step forward, torwards the completion of out true self.
People just let their life live by, doing nothing in their daily lives to truly change anything; we shape ourselves EVERY SINGLE DAY, into something always new, each time gaining an ego more aware of itself, more confident, more happy, more powerful.
Without fear, each day we strive for the realization of our higher destiny.
Whether it’s laughable or irrational, this is the path all great men must walk! If there’s a wall in our way, we’ll destroy it! If there’s no path, we’ll pave it with our own hands!Who do you think we are?
Why do I feel the sudden urge to put this image back as my ava?
