Weird Detached Feeling

I’m not sure if this is where to post this(Just move it if it isn’t, pl0x) It’s happened before, but the first time I tried WILD it was much more intense than normal, and associated with other things.
I find it difficult to put it into words, but the best way I can think of to describe it is like this: It’s dark, and my eyes are closed, so everything I see is dark. Suddenly the darkness is like, pulled away, or something, like my eyelids are suddenly several feet away. The one last night was the first time I ever actually saw the transition, it was very fast, and associated with what I assume was sleep paralysis(Not feeling like I can’t move, but that nothing in the world could make me want to move). Another thing that had never happened before was this feeling like my head was separated from my body by at least two or three feet. The darkness which now felt at least ten feet away started displaying these purple waves that seemed to catch on something halfway down, fold into themselves to form spheres that floated up to the top of my vision and broke, forming what looked like some kind of brownish fluid that hovered around the edges of the broken sphere. This happened several times until the ripple turned into a huge mass that completely covered my vision, so all I saw was purple. After a while of this it faded, and when it did my vision was back where it normally is. I was still apparently paralyzed for a few minutes, until my body spasmed suddenly and I could move again.

Only the feeling of the darkness being drawn away from me has happened before, several times, the first time being two or three years ago, does anyone know what it is?

People describe the vision moving away from the eyes and into the mind’s eye, and I know what they mean. I think it was probably this. Rather than looking at the back of your eyelids, you started seeing through your minds eye, and it does feel like your whole consciousness has shifted and moved away from where it sat before. It’s where you want to be for WIlD I think.

There are many strange thing you can experience during WILD. I don’t recall sucha detachment feeling really. But things involving my body have happened. For instance a feeling of disintegrating. This much be because the mental bodyimage separates from the physical bdy. That is, senses “shut down”. And so you no longe feel connected to your body, or your body disappears. Sometimes I feel like I float into myself. Anything can happen, but the point remains, you’re shifting focus away from our physical body.

Interesting, thanks for the responses.
