Weird Lucid Experience

Last night I went to sleep around 2AM, falling asleep repeating, “The next time I dream I will realize I am dreaming.” I don’t know what time I woke up a few hours later. Or if I even woke up. But I remember going completely numb all of a sudden. The vision behind my eyelids went white. And I started floating off of my bed. Almost like it was an OBE and I was floating out of my body. It felt like I was spinning. I was tempted to move cause I thought I was going to fall off my bed. But I didn’t, I thought, “I should try and enter a dream.” And thought of something and quickly entered a dream. I was on my football field. Ha for some reason I started humping a girl and ended up having a wet dream. I lost control of the dream after that. Next thing I know I was in my bed with my phone in my hand and I was numb. I could hear my dad walking towards my room and he entered and started asking me questions. I couldn’t speak or move. I asked him the next day if he ever came into my room and he said he didn’t. I was obviously dreaming that then. I got up to change my boxers. Fell back asleep. And woke up at 9:40 realizing that I had another wet dream.

Could someone explain all this? What happened when I floated off my bed? I have known about LD’s for a long time now and have never been able to achieve one so easily. I’m wondering if it was something I did and maybe I could do again to achieve an LD every night.

I think it was sleep paralysis kicking in. You must’ve been pretty tired, but your brain was still thinking about something so you accidentally entered a lucid dream. Going to sleep late helps me have more vivid dreams because then I wake up later, and most dreams take place later in the day. I’m not a dream expert, I’m just sharing some stuff I know. Oh, and your reality check signature helped! :content:

I had a very similar experience last night! Weird.

Yep. Definitely sounded like SP.
But good on you for not being afraid and using it to enter a LD!

Not sure what all the wet dreams were about though. Could be your age.
