So, the past 2 (and only 2) lucid dreams i had both happened in relatively the same way. Something in my dream made me think “this has to be a dream” which made be do a RC. The thing is, these happen on random occasions. I was not WILDing, or MILDing, I was just sleeping normally. Is there any way to use this thing of randomly realizing its a dream to my advantage, So i am not just randomly LDing, and doing it on a more constant Basis?
Do you do RC’s often during the day?
This doesn’t seem weird at all, when I first started LD’ing I didn’t used MILD/WILD etc, I just did RC’s during the day. A lot of RC’s, haha. Random things/events in my dreams made me do RC’s in them, similar to what you’re describing.
To get LD’s on a more constant basis, do a MILD/WILD method along with your RC’s. I personally recommend MILD, as its easier to start with and fairly effective for most people.
I do a RC whenever i think about it, but it is usually at a certain section of the day. For example, if i remember to do it late in the day, then i will do RC from then on. I usually try to think of Dream Signs i have had, and then i do a RC when i realize those. Like, in my dreams, i am usually with my friends, so i RC when i am with my friends.
You’re not really randomly LD’ing IMO. RC’s can be used as a standalone technique, thus it gives you LD’s.
we question reality more then what we think sometimes during our waking life, so we start questioning it also in our dreams, even people who don’t know what lucid dreams are have them every once in awhile, they just don’t know how to explain it, because they don’t really know the term “lucid dreaming”.
And if you do RCs a lot through out the day, they will indeed start showing up in your dreams also cause your mind is so use to you doing them that you do it also in your dreams
It’s like, have you ever went somewhere on a trip and when you get home you go to bed and dream about it? (happens to me a lot) that is the same with RCs do it enough IRL and it will carry into your dreams

Oh, i get it. I always thought RCs were like, a helping thing, like WBTB. But with this, what technique would be best to pair up with RCing. I’m Doing MILD so far. Tried WILD, and it kind of…hurt. =P
