what are other EASIER ways to become lucid than WILD?

Which don’t require much effort… i remember PARTS of a dream every night now, but i’d like to use some different techniques…

I’ve heard of CALD… character assisted right? can anyone tell me about that? and maybe some others.

I’m soooo intrested in talking to some people in my lucid dreams about anything and intresting questions (By the way ive only ever had ONE LD, and it was a ND which turned lucid… and i wasn’t fully in control

There is an whole topic on CALD in the pathways forum.
Different people will have various success with the different methods. Some will find WILD really easy compared to having to become lucid in the actual dream itself.
But MILD, WBTB and RCs seem to work for most people.

By the way FILD is a variation of WILD and isn’t time consuming at all. There is a list of all known methods in the knowledge base forum.

Personally, WBTB is the ultimate for dream recall and lucid dreams. Before I knew there was such thing as lucid dreams I realized that if I wake up before my alarm, when my alarm wakes me up I will have the most amazing dreams…

yes i agree with nitro WBTB is key to LD also try it with other techniques like MILD.

i actually arent to good at wilds either, so i created my own technique eilds. i posted it, can you find it?

well for me the best method is the WBTB method i like it because i fall asleep really fast and i only have to say the mantra a couple of times and get great results dont ask me how but some how ive trained myself to wake up after everydream i have instead of just fading into anouther one and then i do WBTB and it really works

Try doing the RC technique (doing many RC-s during the day and hope you will do it in a dream). Might work

I understand WBTB as waking up and getting out of bed for 2 hours or so, then going back. Is this necessary? I mean, do you have to get out of bed or is waking up and keeping your mind going enough? I’d agree with these guys about WBTB though. I’ve tried it twice in the past two weeks and have had 3 LD’s come from it. Even this morning I woke up at about 8:00, and had to get up shortly after (8:15ish) and I must’ve been tired or something because I could feel the rushes and hear the whooshes of SP coming on as soon as I closed my eyes again, only seconds later. If you can, set your alarm to wake you up or tell yourself you’ll wake up at a certain time. My sister sleeps right across the hall so I can’t set my alarm for 4:00 AM, otherwise I would!
