I like my Dreams, almost always i ask myself: What this dream could mean?..
I mean i dont have dreambook which explains what dream means. Bullshit. I can say what that dreams means to me only myself, and no-one can explain it to me like i would.
I understood some things while Dreaming, i understood that not all my friends are really friends, and much more things.
I use LD’s for fun right now, but if i will manage to LD at will, maybe i will use it for more important things
i thought i would post something by one of my favourite dream writers
"Awake and Dreaming
by Robert Moss
I prefer the phrase conscious dreaming to the widely used term lucid
dreaming, for two reasons. First of all, some of the recent
enthusiasts for “lucid dreaming” have given the impression that their
aim is to practice dream control: to manipulate dreams to serve the
agendas of the waking ego. Though Stephen LaBerge has labored to
correct this impression in his exellent second book, Eploring the
World of Lucid Dreaming, the desirability of “controlling your
dreams” is still promoted by other advocates of lucid dreaming. The
point is that dreams are wiser than our everyday minds and come from
an infinitely deeper source. To try to “control” this source, to
interfere with the authentic flow of dreams and to justify this on
the grounds that they are “only dreams,” is the ultimatedelusion of
the control freak who lives in the ego. Fortunately, it is an
attempt that can never succeed. One way of another, the dream source
will remind us that we are not the masters of the universe. If it
were truly possible to put the ego in charge of dreams, the effect
would be to divorce us from soul and spirit.
My second dissatisfaction with the term lucid dreaming is that it is
now widely understood as a technique for programming yourself to wake
up inside the dreamstate. We are advised to do this by telling
ourselves, over and over, that we are going to do it; by
memorizing “dream-signs” (e.g., “If I see my hands, I will ask myself
if I am dreaming”–the Castaneda method); or even by stapping on an
expensive pair of goggles with a flashing red light that is supposed
to alert us to the fact that we are dreaming. All these techniques
may work at some times, for some people, but they are not the
simplest or most rewarding way to become a conscious dreamer.
Spontaneous lucidity, inside a dream, may be triggered by various
things. You may find yourself doing something it would be difficult
or impossible to do in your physical body, like flying or walking on
water, and this may jolt you into becoming aware your are dreaming."

I am not only interested in lucid dreaming. LDing is very fascinating, but other dreams can be as well.
I don’t usually try to interpret my dreams or something. To me they are like journeys to some other world. Sometimes I am amazed by the way my mind can create those worlds, sometimes I like to consider them independant realities. I am not interested in lucid dreaming for the flying and sex and stuff like that. Sure it’s fun, but it’s the possibility of travelling realities that I am looking for.
Difficult question… Lately I’m beginning to understand the profound meaning of dreams. They have their effect on every single detail of my waking life. I also agree with North American shamans who say that everything must be first dreamed before it happens irl. I guess this underlines the importance of dreams imo.
LDing is only one small aspect of dreaming. Even while in a LD I don’t attempt to control most of the dream. I think this is unnatural and distorts the natural transmitting of important signals coming from the Dream Source. So yeah, it goes much further than LDs.
Yep. Lately I’m investigating my NDs to unravel their symbolisms. It’s not easy though… First I must learn to interprete my personal symbolical language before I could start with the translation of the dream itself.
As Robert Moss, I too believe that proper understanding of the dream symbolism can help your waking life achievements and even transform your being. Seeing beyond dream symbolism can offer you a glimpse of the possible future paths you will be able to follow in waking life. I think this may be an excellent guide towards an unknown future.
They may very well originate from our higher self. But when the message finally comes to the surface in our dreams, it’s all coloured with our thoughts, impressions and overall mental structures. This makes it extremely hard to look beyond these veils to the heart of the message. That’s why I believe dreamwork and understanding the symbolical language is absolutely necessary if one wants to use dreams as an aid for waking life matters.
Both In essence, there’s no real difference between both states. So it doesn’t make much sense in trying to pinpoint a possible difference. What we can do however, is trying to see beyond both illusionary veils which is ofcourse the core principle of spirituality.
What do dreams mean to you?
A lot of things: often times a great source of freedom, rest and relaxation, learning and experiencing, enjoyment, inspiration, and evolution! Sometimes, an overindulgence in unconsciousness, illusions, and mindless thoughts and activities.
Are you only interested in lucid dreaming? or does your interest go farther than just that of being able to control your dreams?
LDing I find a first step along the journey of consciousness.
Do you use dreams/lucid dreams as a tool to aid you in your waking life?
Yes. they can show me how I’m evolving, what my current potentials are, and understanding more about myself.
Are our dreams an inner source of wisdom? are our dreams messages from our higher self?
Dreams can open a path to wisdom already present within. I don’t know about any higher self.
are we dreaming for now. or is the now for our dreaming?
Our perception of the real world is a dream based on the senses. A dream is based on memory, or any possible ESP.
Dreams are like an other world, like a second life i’m having. And actually that is what they always were. In my dreams, although I had frightned ones, I’m always feeling happier than irl. Because a lot of things just don’t matter.
As a child already I wondered of it would be possible to influence your dreams.
No my interest go much much further, with my it’s about exploring my subconscious
Not yet, but that is my ittention.
As a said I believe dreams are your subconscious ehhh (help my english is not al that good ) eh your dreams is your subconscious in images/movies.
I don’t think I really understand this question, but if I do, I will say dreaming is for the future.
For me dreams are a second world, a world I wanna explore I believe dont LD ALLLLLLLL your dreams (including the non-REM-stage dreams) so there is still lots of untoucheble dreams to work with.
Beside even when I look at the matrix… also NEO played alllong is Lucid Dream… He fought the man with the glasses, but really if you think better… NEO must have been able to just vanish him. If all is in the mind, you just have to make him go away, of freeze of whatever. But no NEO fought the guy.
So even if you are influencing your dream in an LD… your dream still does things that are not in your consious control.
As in you don’t know where you get, when you walk through a mirrow.
Dreams are wonderfull and gives peace and quite in your self
