What do you think of this?

Ok so this morning I stayed in bed a little longer than usual and tried to have a lucid dream. I just rolled over and relaxed, telling myself my goals and that I would be lucid. I had this weird sensation like when you are scared or on a roller-coaster except no stomach flip just the feeling in your head. (I hope that makes sense, it is the best way I can explain it) This happened in every transition into dream and out of dream.

So now I am dreaming everything is pretty clear, about like WL. I remember my goals and summon up a pair of swords they appear really easily. Later I also tried summoning a person and that was harder but kinda worked.
I just kinda went with the dream. During it I was aware of my RL body some of the time, so I had to try not to think about it I didn’t have too many problems. I woke up a few times (the weird feeling happening and giving me time to prepare) and repeated the relax and auto-suggestion thing and slipped right back into the dream really fast, like in seconds. The same sensation happened and it picked up right where it left off.

During the whole dream I knew I was dreaming and didn’t question it. I didn’t have to do RCs or anything.

Recently I have been having more and more lucid dreams (I have had like 4 this week  ) most lasting only for a few seconds but this one was different. It felt a little more like a daydream as I could feel my RL body. What I think I did was a combination of auto-suggestion and chaining while not totally falling asleep. I am curious to know “What do you think?”

Yep, it’s just like you said. Autosuggestion with chaining. Congrats on the vivid LD, though.. Always fun when you don’t even have to bother stabilizing.

Yeah I plan on trying it again if I can sleep in again. Thanks for the reply.

i think ive had this a couple of times, but never really knew what it was.
its kind of like the feeling you get when riding a roller-coaster, right?
like being thrown around in alot of different directions really fast…huh, never really questioned why that happens :eh:

I thought you were supposed to stay on your back to induce lucid dreams.

But my 1 second lucid dream, my first & only one. was on my side

The back is only recommended for the WILD technique, though even that doesn’t work for everyone. I have an easier time on my stomach. Other studies say males should lay on one side and females on another.

The moral of the story: the position isn’t that dire.

Thanks, i’m going to try on my side tonight, cause my first one 2 weeks ago was on my side

That is so cool Dreamjutsu.

So you are just easing into the LD. this just shows that the more you have LD’s the easier it becomes to have even more because you just get used to the sensation, and when it arrives, you just Know.
Of course, don’t believe you’re a master yet, because I know by expereince, that once you start believing, “Oh, LD’s just simply happen to me now. Now I don’t have to apply any effort…”<that is when the LD’s start to decrease and before you know it, you have to start back from scratch, like me.

But hey, I’m just warning you :content:
So far, you are doing awesome and lastly I have to say,
KEEP it UP! Your efforts are paying off now :ok:

@#Six
Yeah, Thanks  I haven’t been able to do it that well since then. And i didn’t have time for LDs for a week or two, but now that I am back trying angain I think that I have had at least 1 LD a night for the past few nights though most are only seconds long, some have been long enough for me to try some things. I got to fly last night. It is great motivation to write in my dream journal. I know I have a long way to go, thanks for the encouragement.
