So I just started researching lucid dreaming, literally yesterday, and when following some advice , I had the weirdest experience last night. For a long time now, I have not been able to remember any of my dreams . But last night I went to sleep telling myself that I would dream, and in the morning I will remember . So when I woke up this morning, I was surprised that I actually did remember so quickly . But what really stunned me, was when I remember my dream, I was talking about lucid dreaming . I was telling someone that I couldn’t wait to get home so I could go to sleep and try this new technique that I’ve been reading about – lucid dreaming . Shortly after, I was awakened by my father . What do I do ? Is this the start of a lucid dream ? Even in the dream after I said this, I did not realize that it was a dream . What extra steps should I take now ?
I would take that as a good sign. It shows that the thought of lucid dreaming is leaking into the subconscious, and it is possible that you get a lucid dream very soon. 
If that was me, i would go on in the same way. It could be a good idea to make sure you get enough sleep.

I had s similar experience the night i was told about LD’ing. I was so excited about this controlling your dreams thing and my DJ and remembering your dreams properly…
So that night, my first dream i kept having FA’s where i would wake up and write down a tonne of stuff in my DJ (not in RL in the dream world), then i would dream again, have another FA and write more stuff down… this continued for most of my night, and when i finally woke up in the morning, i was so excited to see what i had dreamt about, and was absolutley gobsmaked when it was blank… 
It was pretty funny though, because my friend who got me into LD’ing, when i told him, he said he did the same thing
