It probably depends on whover is doing it. I hear WBTB is an effective method, but it doesn’t work for me because I’m terrible at going to sleep in general.
I seems like where I’m at now is a bed place if you want to become lucid.
I can’t remember my dreams, and it takes me along time to get to sleep in the first place…
IMO, the best induction methods are DILD methods (autosuggestion, RC’s or MILD). They have better results than WILD.
I think autosuggestion is very simple. It’s just repeating a sentence like “Tonight, I will realize that I’m dreaming”. So I think it’s a good and efficient method for beginners.
WBTB can dramatically increase you chances of having a lucid dream. It’s not an induction method in itself, but it can be used with MILD or autosuggestion.
Many beginners try WILD immediatly. For some of them, it works easily. For others, it doesn’t work at all and it robs them of motivation for other techniques. That why I would advice DILD techniques first.
Too true. I WILDed for a month or so and barely got any HI at all. I then began trying MILD and Autosuggestion and just a few weeks later… I had my first LD!!!
Yeah, like BB said–it depends on the person.
Like for me, if I had to rank my methods it’d be:
But, ya know it could be different for others…especially when you’ve got a different lifestyle–I guess you really gotta experiment with different methods–ya know, mess with ‘em a bit…try mixin’ up methods and stuff–nevermind… I’m probably makin’ this more complicated than what it should be…^^
Just try WILD at first, then WBTB when you have time…music seems to be a good stimulator, too
