What is wrong with me?

Last night, and the night before, I have nearly had 2 LD’s, In the first one, I just randomly realised that I was dreaming, but couldn’t be bothered to do anything, and just last night, there was text written on my watch, then it changed, and changed again, I realised I was dreaming but didn’t do anything!

Why is this happening?

You have to train yourself to get controll. In my first LD I just layed down and started rolling until I woke up, now, I didn’t want to roll but I had no controll at all.

Lucid Dreaming is when you are aware that you’re dreaming, controlling your dream is another thing.

Could I count them as lucid dreams? Or not?

If you realise you’re dreaming, then it’s a lucid dream. So if you were aware it was a dream within the dream, then yes it would be a Lucid dream.

what about the stuff saying if it doesnt last long, or is low level, to count it as 0.5?

No, even if you wake up immediatly when you realize you’re dreaming it still counts as a lucid dream. You can also have FLD (False Lucid Dream) in which you act like you’d be lucid but never really become conscious. These dreams are often called FLDs, but there’s also a kind that’s called Semi-lucid dream (The line between those are really thin and I can’t tell them apart).

The reason you may count a short lucid dream as 0.5 is that when you have longer ones, you still count them as one even if they are 20 times longer or more. You start to think that you have to be fair and give the dreams proper credit. A very short one does not seem as worthy as a long one. I still count short ones, but I have started to think in this way a bit. And feel the need to justify them. Usually it’s enough to think “I became lucid, so it counts” It’s all about being honest with yourself, there are no rules.
