Do you have to do a WBTB, or can i just WILD right at the beginning of the night? I usually can’t do a WBTB because my alarm goes off, and it’s like I unconciousally turn it off and go back to sleep.
AFAIK, you don’t have to do WBTB, but it’s a lot easier with WBTB. I personally try to do WILD every evening when I go to sleep. I hope that some day I will be able to WILD at any time, which as I’ve read is possible
You can’t subconsciously turn off your alarm clock if it’s at the foot of your bed
notstevejobs is correct if you must use a alarm clock (I wake up at 2 in the morning almost always without an alarm) put it somewhere so that you have to get up to turn it off.

You have to have atleast 3 to 4 hours of sleep before going into the REM cycle (REM is where dreams take place) so for afternoon naps no you do not have to use WBTB but at night if you are going to use WILD i would highly recommend that you use WILD with WBTB it is the most effected to put them together.
