When u awake....?

How clear do u remember ur vision bein n ur dreams–from a scale of 1-to-5 with 1 bein the blurriest?

I’d say I’m somewhere between a 2 and a 3–but do u know if there’s ne way 2 improve ur dream vision (like meditation or sumthin)?

It depends… I think everything from 1 to 5 happens from time to time, but mostly its around 3.

1-4, mostly 3

i guess mine would be around 2-3… mostly 3
But everynow and then i get 4-5 which are really cool dreams. I love remembering my dreams with good vividness. Although i’ve realised that i’ve gotten into a habit of not being able to remember any dreams if i dont write them down in my DJ, which is really annoying because lately i havent been writing in it because i wake up too quick or too slow or fall straight back up to sleep or am too lazy…so thats really annoying…

Well I’d say around 2-3. I have had normal dream that were more vivid than the few ld’s I’ve had. Those normal dreams were pretty “powerful”. They were full of intense sensations so I’m guessing that’s why they were more vivid.

Typically, 3-4.

I distinctly remember one lucid dream in which I was walking towards a shed in the bright sunlight. I remember the sunlight reflecting off of my jeans in a strange way. Sort of a “realistic video game graphics” way. It was realistic, but it was still cartoony in some way.

Okay, so we have a lot of threes and fours on vision vividness–but, how about your other senses; like your sense of hearing, and smell, and taste, and touch?

For me:

Hearing - 2-3
Smell - Perfect 5!
Taste- Perfect 5 again!
Touch - 4-5; almost a perfect score all the way around…

I have perfect vision in my dreams and I don’t have to wear my glasses either.

vision is good.
I only remember eating two things in my dreams- one was a sub, it was a 1.5 on a scale from 1-5. Another time I ate some meat, that time it was a perfect 5.
I usually dont hear anything at all in my dreams (or I dont rememer whatever I hear)
touch is around 2-3

I’d say a 2-3 most of the time. But one time, when I became lucid, it was amazing. Right when I said to myself “I must be dreaming” my whole field of vision just focused like a lens, like I had put on glasses or something. Judging by that, I’m guessing you could wilfully increase clarity if you were lucid.

I’d say my vision is usually 3-4. I think it really does depend on how well you remember the dreams too, but yeah, some dreams are just all… urgh lol.
My hearing would be… 4-5 I think. Smell? I dunno I never smelled anything in a dream (that I can remember anyway lol) and my touch varies a LOT, it can go from 1 to 5. Seems like it depends a lot on what I’m dreaming about and how well I remember it, cause in some dreams my sense of touch was a perfect 5 all the way. Hmm now that I think about it… my touch is like 4-5 most of the times! And my taste… I have no idea!

I have the same problem! Any ideas on how to solve this?

Ah, I’d say visually I’m around a 3–maybe a 4 on a good day . Hearing wise? 3 or 4 on average. Smell? I don’t know–I’ve never smelt anything in my dreams. Touch? Hmm…3 to 5–that’s my strongest sensation. Taste would have to be a 2 or 3.

So yeah, I should work on my sense of smell. :content:

Oh, and my ESP is around a 4 to 5–so I guess that would be my strongest sensation…

Vision- 3-4
Smell- 0? never smelled anything
Touch- 4-5
Hearing-3- 5
Taste-3

Vision - Usually 3. I’ve had a lot of problems with blurry vision in LDs, but sometimes my vision is perfect, sometimes its clear but not realistic (like what I see has been drawn by someone).
Hearing - 5
Touch - 5
Taste - 5 (although I havent tasted much in my dreams)
Smell - ? (never smelled anything in a dream)

Usually my dream vision is about 4.5 (higher in LD), which is cool, cause in real life if have myopia, and need glasses to see long distance (otherwise it’s blurry).

Thats just given me an idea: I wonder if I can see magic eye pictures in lucid dreams!

I wonder whether my vision is different in each eye in my dreams? In real life I have lazy eye I think, so one of my eyes is rubbish and blurry.

I think I should go get an eye test in my dream and see what the optician says…

You mean if you look through one eye at a time you might see different scenes? That sounds so cool–I’m going to try that! :content:

Since we’re on senses–has anyone noticed how they can sense something in a dream they’ve never experienced IRL and it could seem so real? :eh:

Ex: I’ve never really kissed a girl–I mean, really KISSED…but in dreams it’s like when I do–it just comes so natural and I can capture the feeling of it, but when I awake, it’s like–I can’t get that same feeling >.<. Kinda like it was only exclusive to the dream…:uh:

But yeah, has anyone had some kinda experience in a dream that they haven’t IRL, and actually felt that feeling?

I think it’s quite…interesting, to say the least…^^

MIne is 3 average. But some times its like 2.5

Well, maybe it seems that way when we wake up…but, ya know, in the dream it seems real so sensation-wise we may be at a 4 or a 5, but when we wake up and think back on it, the sensations only come at a decreased vividness :uh:
