Oh man… I have to post this again. I’ll be brief for my patience’s sake.
Have you ever had a moment in your life when something so weird happened that it looked like a dream?
My story is something like this: (It’ll be short this time, I don’t want to type the whole thing again)
Some other day I was walking around with a friend in College, heading to a class. We get in a wrong way somewhere and end up in a part of the building we’ve never been to before. This started to weird me out. We go to a bathroom nearby and there’s CLOWN in there to top off the weirdness >_>
Yeah I had one of these situations some weeks ago.
A friend of my dad calls me at 3am, and ask me if I wanna go for a drink. I got up, got dressed. When we arrive at the club, we get kicked out.
Some drunk old man come to us and start talking about his cat.
Then we wanna go to a friend’s house, but we are 6 people and only one car, so two of them get in the truck. At this point, I RC’ed like crazy, but no no, it was in fact a RL event.
Gahahahahah those are perfect situations for RCs I remember RCing like crazy when I saw the clown. And still trying not to look crazy in front of my friend and the clown.
I was in chemistry class. The teacher called some students to go to the front of the class. She handed hashis (the sticks used to get food in Japan) to the guys and put two dishes in front of them. One of them had Hershey’s Kiss chocolates. She told them they would have to unwrap them with the hashi and place the chocolate in the other dish, and the girls would have to eat them as fast as possible.
I RCed like crazy.
Later, the same day, a guy from my year was dressed as a Banana in Pyjamas. Apparently he lost a bet and was supposed to go in costumes every day last week…
o_o I just looked out of my window and saw an arctic wolf running in the middle of the street, near some cars. I look again, there is no wolf, just the cars. There isn’t even a dog in the street… RCRCRC
You’re probably not refering to this kind of moments as I have in mind since there wasn’t anything really special weird or strange about it, but I still post it.
There was just this incredably feeling that all of this was just a dream. I RCed a lot, not only those handRCs and such but also the think RCs. It just really felt as a dream, but it wasn’t. This has happened to me several times. One time I was driving on my bike with a friend, the houses looked familiar and unfamiliar at the same time, while I ride there every day.
And sometimes when you have deja-vu’s I feel like I’m dreaming too, but that’s of a whole different area than the experience I just described.
the past few months I felt like I was in a weird continous deja-vu, but nature seems really vibrant and vivid , being outside is like a feast for the eyes. I told my unsupportive, ld’s are lies, like friends and they said I sound like I’m on acid. Also one day i was in school at a basketball game , and my eyes got kinda foggy and what my eyes seen seemed distant, like they where on tv. The weirdest part, I’m on a break from LD’s ( got too much like this!)
O_o something weird just happened… but first some background:
Today, I was grabbing some grapes from my refrigerator, when it suddenly reminded me of a old Tom & Jerry cartoon where Tom was drunk, and at a specific scene he climbed into a refrigerator to grab grapes, ending up falling down and making a mess. I didn’t think much of it at the time, and just shrugged off the idea.
Cut to 3 min ago. I turn on my TV. It’s on Cartoon Network, showing Tom & Jerry. The thing is, it’s showing that episode. And, who would have thought? EXACTLY THAT SCENE!!!
Hehe. I never have really weird stuff like this, or else I’m just so used to it that I don’t question it at all. However, I will have random days when one word is used several times. Usually a really weird word, like ‘beast’ or ‘clandestine.’
I usually have the “dreamy moments” upon awakening from a nap, or if I wake in the middle of the night.
The most memorable of these moments was when I woke from a nap, walked outside to talk to my mom, who was watering plants, and asking her if I was dreaming. She asured me I wasnt dreaming, but something just didnt seem right. I had a suspicion that I was dreaming, my time sense was altered (a usual when waking from naps, my mom seemed much more talkitive than her normal self, and I had slightly blurred vision. I felt very paniced as the thought of not being able to distinguish reality from dreaming entered my mind. I did a few simple RCs to calm me down, but still had an indescribable feeling that I was dreaming. After an hour or so I finnaly realized that I was probaly still in a mild sleep state from the earlier nap.
Every day is like this for me lol. I work for 911. You guys wouldn’t believe the strange things people call for. Its a great way to do RC’s though lol.
I’ve had a few moments that caused me to momentarily become very convinced that reality was a dream, but nothing worth remembering or retelling.
I did, however, have an experience a while back that most people would call “dreamlike.” (Now that I’ve been lucid while dreaming, I know that dreams actually feel more real than that did.) I thought I was sick, and I stumbled through my school feeling like nothing was real. Difficult to explain, and extremely strange.
I had one yesterday: I walk into the cinema with some friends to watch Scary Movie 4. The whole place is EMPTY. I find it odd and RC - Look at my hands, and they are ok. Close one eye and try to look at my nose with the other - … AH I CAN’T SEE IT! moves closer to the light “Oh… I see it.” I was scared that I’d be dreaming at that time without noticing
Last Saturday, I arrived at work and saw a brass band lined up in the mall’s public area. It is sometimes used for school performers etc. in the weekend, so I didn’t pay much attention to the band that was getting ready, until they started playing loudly…the star wars theme! I did a RC, and it almost looked like my coworker did one too.
Because the grocery store I work at had an error in the system, 1-liter bottles of any Pepsi-made soda could be bought 6 for $0.09 cents. YES 9 CENTS! Six small single gatorades $1.09, 8 small ice tea bottles $1.49, Lays canned chips 6 for $1.09. This screw up also included Life Cereal and Cap’n Crunch. I forgot how much they costed.
So me and my brother-in-law bought like 80 or more gatorades, maybe like 30 sodas, maybe 25 ice tea and maybe 30 canned lays chips. We have our table completely covered with chips, soda, gatorade, and ice tea, plus a few boxes of gatorade stacked on the ground.
This madness went on for two days, everyone was buying stuff like mad. Wow, and it’s a damn good thing this wasn’t a dream. It’s just a shame I didn’t buy more! The lines were long during the evening. A few guys bought probably 5 times more than us. I’ll probably upload a photo sometime soon.
