Where did I go ?

Hello to all
I meditate for years but I haven’t tried lucid dreaming before until last Monday…
I woke up at 3:00 AM and after listening to a relaxation program
I went back to sleep saying to myself (as I was in a very relaxed state)
that I will know it when I’m dreaming….

…I found myself walking near my house and I was thinking that I wasn’t wearing proper clothes for getting out
and had a strange feeling that something was not OK.
Then I realized that it was too early in the morning and dark and thought that I maybe was sleepwalking
and felt some discomfort when it suddenly became obvious to me
that I was dreaming !
I begun to return back when I thought that it is possible to fly in my dream.
This happened easily and I moved freely some meters above the ground but when I tried to enter my house
I lost everything and found myself (but without a body now)
into a vortex or better a flight towards something in space.
Many white specks past behind me (like the old screensaver “space flight”) and all this experience was accompanied by loud sounds. Finally I came to see a bluish thing like an eye or a planet and after some more sounds and traveling I wake up in
my body again.

I would like to know what this experience was as it seemed to have two parts and
I hope some experienced members in this nice forum will post their comments.

hi and congratulations to your first LD.

i would say it was a normal lucid dream. what do you mean with it seemed to have two parts? the part in which you were not lucid and the part in which you were lucid? yea. that means it was a DILD, a lucid dream that was induced while you were dreaming.

Thanks,
I mean about this second part of the dream where the experience changes with the sounds and flight in space

Well, it’s just a normal LD, just like every other.

I mean, dreams are always weird.I can’t remember a dream which was completely normal and logical.

Here we even had a quest to fly to space. You’re late ^^

That sounds like a normal LD to me, although the second part of the dream sounds more like an OBE. It is very rare to be without a body in an LD, although it is quite common in an OBE.

The best way to describe it-
when I say I was without a body I mean I was only consciousness.
(That makes me curious and asking you again here as I’m very new to all this  )

So,is it possible a transition from Lucid Dream to an OBE ?

Yeah, many describe techniques to transition from a LD, to a OBE, or an AP, and vice versa. It is definitely possible.

IF you believe that an OBE is possible at all. in this case, yeah, why not.
