Just thought I’d update you all on my happenings.
Well, I can’t remember the exact last time I was here, so I’ll back track to what’s been happening in my life before I left, if that makes any sense, which it probably doesn’t, but I don’t care!
Well, this time last year I was quite active here, and the job I was doing then was delivering charity clothes bags. Nice outdoor job, lots of walking, brilliant. Well, that ended towards the end of June, and I spent the rest of the summer (and the early autumn) unemployed and loved it. I used my new found fitness level to go for walks and bike rides every day, and also going swimming a lot too. It was great.
Then I decided it was about time to get another job, and I saw an advert for a trainee bus driver. Well, I’d never really thought of it before, but seeing as they were prepared to pay me full rate while I trained, I thought I’d give it a try. Well, after a few weeks of training to drive a bus, I decided it wasn’t for me…
I was wanting another outdoor job, like a postman or something, but couldn’t find one at the time, so I got myself a temporary casual job at my local auction rooms, helping to shift furniture around, etc. This lasted from late autumn through to January.
Then in January a postman job came up, and I’ve been doing it for 2 months so far.
Obviously, somewhere back there I somehow lost interest in LDs for a while. Then once I started my postman job, I thought maybe I could sleep for about 6 hours at night, then go back to bed in the afternoon and have LDs. I tried it and didn’t like it, because I decided I’m much more of a day person and I want to do things with my afternoons, so now I got to bed at about 7 or 8pm, and have the afternoons free for doing things. Note: 7pm may seam like a rediculously early time to go to bed, but think about this: you try getting up at 3:45am five days a week!
So anyway, now I’m starting to come back round to the idea of LDs. I don’t know what methods I’m going to use. I don’t want to be waking in the night, seeing as I get up early enough as it is anyway, so I want some method which I can use whilst sleeping solid. Maybe I’ll just be on here loads and try to fill my head with stuff? Maybe I’ll buy an LD book and read it every night in bed before I go to sleep?
Anyway, that’s basically what I’ve been up to. It’s good to be back. Oh, and I hope to do some more music sometime soon. I’ve upgraded my computer to have more memory. Also, check out my forum at eddykins.proboards26.com
This isn’t a shameless plug. I really am glad to be back, I really did want to fill you in on what I’ve been up to, and I really am enthusiastic about LDs again.
